hey dude i ran into a problem idk if its supposed to do this but yeah. when i open itunes after using autodown and go to my ipod, it says i need to restore my ipod because it is in recovery mode. then when i try and restore it with the 1.1.1 firmware it just sits there forever saying "waiting for ipod" i'll keep trying though to see if i can get it to work.

for anyone that needs help....I have been having the same troubles as everyone else..it would say error...ok what i did was i went to google and typed in itunes 7.5...you have to delete the itunes you have now and then install that one and do these steps over again and it should work...it worked for mine..but you have to make sure you delete the new itunes first cause its 7.7...u need to go back to 7.5...hope i helped everyone

so this works As of April 29th,2008 (windows XP, if its not working your probably doing something wrong but its ok because the first day it took me hours to downgrade)
