tq. History channel showd docu on P.Ramlee on 31 Oct. I missed it was mentioned P. Ramlee died a pauper & his wife Saloma, the greatest songtress Malaysia had, had no money even to pay for his funeral. A sad thing for a legend, not because he enjoyed his life but friends & others took advantage of his generosity. His record company also did not pay his royalties even after his death.
