  • What you create is really moving and I'm sure touched the hearts of those who were lucky enough to find the message pebbles.

If I had found one of the pebbles, I think I would have taken a photograph and not touched it.

Or, would I do as directed? Of course, it's not your actual heart being thrown into the sea! But your heart went into painting it and putting it there. Would I want to throw it in the sea and deny someone else from that thought process.

Art surely does make you think!

Thank you for the comments. I do actually want people to throw them into the sea. I like the romance of it, finding a heart and throwing it into the ocean...but if they take it home or bin it, that's ok aswell. I plan to do more of these.I'm moving overseas very shortly...so watch out for more and stay in touch.

  • nice

  • I just love your poetry.

  • @addychavez

Thank you, this is the beginning of my street text art.

  • oh.

Pretty bad weather these days, where's the sun and the high temperatures in greece?:p

    Be well John!

  • @malexan31

I look forwards to seeing your paintings and writing left laying on the streets.

  • Originally. I like it.

  • did he just reply to himself?!

  • @jzburda

There's no greater satisfaction in life than replying to yourself.

  • I had an idea quite a long ago about making small paintings and leaving them around town for people to pick up it they liked The only problem is it's winter now with lots of snow, rain, ice, etc. so I thought it would be a summer thing. Now you gave me a great idea- use stones and acrylic! We have lots around here- over 75 lakes not to mention all the rivers we have. THANKS- hope you don't mind me doing a take off of your idea. I love your stones- they are so flat, white and smooth.

  • @momapes

You should do...and film it. I'd love to see them left around town. I also plan to write text on pieces of card and paper and leave them around.

  • @JohnPurchaseArt

Glad that I can help you.
