I FOUND A BABY BLUE JAY...BUT HE WAS ALITTLE BIT OLDER THAN THE BABY BIRD IN THIS VIDEO....I HAD NO CLUE WHAT TO FEED HIM.
SO WHAT I DID WAS TOOK A SLICE A BREAD SOAKED IT IN ROOM TEMPT MILK AND GAVE HIM PIECES OF IT..JUS ENOUGH TIL HE WAS FULL.
MY BLUE JAY LIVED FOR ALMOST THREE YEARS...HE WAS VERY HEALTHY I HAD TO SAY..LOL HE ATE EVERYTHING YOU GAVE HIM AND HE WOULD PLAY PRANKS ON MY GRANDMA...HE WOULD MOCK THE TELEPHONE...YOU'LL SEE HER GET UP RUNNING TO THE PHONE..I MISS HIM MUCH!!
ok firstly, you DO NOT steal a baby bird from a nest that isnt right!! You're causing stress for the mother as well ESPECIALLY if you dont even have a clue how to feed them. Baby birds are usually fed using formula thru syringe not a picker! this is disgusting
@aubrybranigan Yep, taking care of baby birds is a *huge* job best for bird parents only. Did you feed this little guy every 20-30 minutes from morning to night? Also, feeding him worms could of killed him as they have parasites. Robins and black birds can handle worms. Oh, one important thing, in the US it's illegal to house/keep wild birds. House sparrows, starlings and pigeons are exempt from this law as they are an invasive species. It is good that you told your daughter that this is wrong.
hey a friend of mine found a nest full of eggs and she brought them home to me.. we feel bad for doing this we really regret it but were trying our best to make them hatch theyre are about 9-12 eggs! greenish with brown spots and some all white.. please let me know any tips would really help!

this is scary stuff. we never know when, or if we will go in to check on it, and find it *expired*
we'll keep on trying, for whatever the outcome may be.
