Cool I have loads of ww1 1/72 models I have started to paint them because of this video and did it take you that long because you didn't do much or did you realy take 26 years to paint theses
@jakeoo32 I bought them and painted a few in 1985, and then they sat in the basement for at least 10 years and I painted the rest in grey primer. Another 16 years later, I finished the models. These guys were not a top priority.
Nice I have the same kit but I did some different details as you did for example I didn't paint parts of the hat gold but what I've done which you should too is to stick grass onto their base. Citadel as good kind of grass instead of painting the base. Believe me it would look so much better with grass.
@clonesdisasters Yes! My Dad and I made it from wood and cardboard in 1985. At the time, we had just a few front 3/4 photos of it from a WW1 book my Grandma made from old Time Life News magazines. That's why the back end looks like a boat. We had to "guess" the shape.
