@TsukixTenshi only person who standing between alex pettyfer and jace was alex himself. he refused the role, there is not much we can do but respect his choice.
@clary4jace well.... there are at least around 5 000 000 people in this world that are male and good at acting. 1 000 000 are male, good at acting and hot. 100 000 are at least fit for playing Jace and around 5000 are perfect for him. But neither Jamie nor Alex are among those 5000. But that's just my opinion.

i love the idea of adam lambert as magnus but i worry that he might be too old for the part cause ii think magnus is supposed to look twenty-ish, lily makes a good clary and i really hope they will cast alex as jace, cause everyone seems to want him as jace, he looks the part and he's a really good actor
can't wait for the movie :) i got all three books for christmas this year, i had never heard of them but now i have finished reading them and i'm totally hooked :)

SO, when I saw "Lily Collins" as Clary, I was all "HELL NO!", because I thought you meant the fashion model [and somewhat actress] (also a red head, but just a little too old for the role) and then I stalked down IMDB and had a spazz. I haven't seen her in anything, but appearance wise, she looks like a good Clary. I just hope they redden her hair a bit more, though...
I can't wait to find out about the rest of the cast!!! -squeee!-
