But as long as the politicians tell us that we are a democracy that values freedom of expression and human rights, people mindlessly believe that, even though all facts speak against it.
This country is turning into a totalitarian state and nobody seems to neither notice nor care.
Hehe. This is ridiculous. There is a humour to the poor quality of it though.
I suspect this was made by a teenager with too much time and too much hashish.
P.S. The alternative youths did have a house that was taken from them - probably unrightfully so.. But then they went and trashed our fair city like the spoiled rich brats they are.. You will not find much sympathy for them in Denmark.
At least they were offering some kind of resistance against overt discrimination, unlike you and I and the rest of the senile population who'd rather see all we know beaten into submission towards the mechanics of politics than haul our fat asses out on the street and be seen and heard. Like any living being with blood still pulsing in their veins.
Hm. Soo violence is ok? It's ok to burn peoples cars, to smash people's shops? - to set the streets ablaze? To attack Policemen, just doing their job? (yes, I know that some policemen are just as bad - but the worst excuse for violence is "I saw one of them do it also")
Nothing you can ever say will convince me that violence is ok.
Part of the story, I'm not sure ever got out of Denmark is that actually the youngs were offered the house back. Some private persons collected some money and the Municipality of Copenhagen agreed to sell them the house.
In other words: It would belong to the youngs - and they didn't have to pay a dime. No strings attached.
Everyone thought it was over - including most of the Copenhagen underground.. But then some from the "inner circle" of the house, rejected the offer.. On principal grounds. The principle being that they wanted the municipality to give them the house for free instead.. .. .. Well. The rest is history; obviously it was more fun to have an excuse to trash Copenhagen than to have that house. I wish, as many others, that I could have influenced that decision.

Come to Denmark!

You have rights (unless you are unemployed)
You can marry the person you love (unless he or she is a foreigner or you are)
etc. etc. - the list is long ...

Oh yes, we have this wonderful, tolerant, fairytale country where:
You have freedom of expression (if you have the right opinion)
You are equal to the law (unless you are too poor or have in some other way disqualified yourself)

Hmm, this site seems to choke on my comment, so now you will get it in small chunks:

P.P.S. They ended up getting a new, better house.
