Wow. Stop making excuses for yourself. Nobody HAS to grab food at a gas station. Big companies put chemicals in the food to make us crave it more? Is that what you think? Or do you have scientific proof? It's great that you have such confidence and high self esteem for a morbidly obese person, but I'm pretty sure you'll feel better naturally if you just cut the crap and try to get fit. Society puts a stigma on obesity because IT'S NOT HEALTHY.
@Rogerio34567 .....u right...she needs stop talking and start walking...she would talk you to death...talks/writes a lot..achieves fuk all...wtf is she waffling on about..just lose the weight already.
With obesity, the "problem" is "obvious" so people have no problem confronting people about it. It's odd that people think things like weight or health have simple solutions, but hate when the same is suggested to them about their problems.
The epidemic isn't obesity, but cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other consequences of high-risk behavior. Weight is correlated, but not the main issue. That's what people need to understand.
hi! i think you are a very nice inspiring person. i am usually the stereotype one: i judge a book by its cover. i would have thought you were too fat and ate burgers all day long.but you don't, you publish books, raise a family and love yourself. and i admire you. you are a wonderful person and deserve to be happy. keep going on and inspire the rest :) un bacio dall'italia!
Happy? Yes. Satisfied? No. I love my life & who I M in this moment, but M working 2change things in my life. My size isn't who I M but it does hinder me. Soo, I M finally changing it. If I weighed this much & could live my life how I want 2, then I would B fine. It is not my size that I want 2 change but my health & fitness level. As I continue 2 improve that, shedding the pounds has been a side effect. Thanks 4the question.......it made me think! Self Love, Peace & Joy! God Bless!!
Media ... there really are not a lot of stars out there proclaiming pride in being large...Dawn French is one I can think of, but they're few and far between.
I wrote about MoNique and Queen Latifah in my book. I think they are well respected media personalities "of size" who have a good self image and say this is who I am, like it or not. You are correct though, there are not many. Thanks for the comment! God Bless!
I missed this comment.....sorry. It's a dream I've always known I would accomplish & I was writing it in my head for a long time & knew it would manifest itself when God said it was time. I spent years putting it together & have several other titles started. Let me know if you read it & what you think! God Bless!
LEt me know what you think once you read it. I really feel it will help people understand what people of size go through and helps us to look at ourselves no matter what our issues are
I do think you will like it. I have had mostly good feedback. Some people say they feel like I was yelling at them to start, which I sort of am to those who think they can judge us by our appearance.
