  • @EMaster2006 i know! I tried to tell my lil bro that he used to love this show (to the point of wearing his cowboy hat to bed) and he didnt believe me til i showed his this clip... then it was "oh i think i remember this show" . as pay back i'm gunna find the series and give em tto him for his bday lol

  • I knew I wasn't crazy, my parents claim this cartoon didn't exsist.

  • awesome stuff I love it.

    bernie

  • Still one of the all time best intro songs.

  • Twas a very confusing show for me, always wondering why the horses were still... Well, beasts of burden. :P

  • Me and my brother were born before this came out. Our names are Cody and Jake. Of course its our favorite show ever!

  • I just freaked out when I realized that bulls are riding horses...

  • alguem do brasil lembre desses tempos de sentar perto da tv ?

  • HOLY MONKEYS!!!!!!!!! I remember I used to watch this show all the time!!!! .-P

What's funny is that somewhere I still have 2 of the 3 good guys.

  • As a child I just accepted the fact that cows were riding horses...

  • can someone put this on megaupload

  • To this day, I do not know why I liked this show the way I did...

  • hell yeah!!!!!!

  • I really loved this show, and really loved the intro too. I was the type to wait for the show to come on, then crank the volume just for the intro.

  • @skywize me too!!!!!

  • I want everyone to watch this and contemplate this sole fact: this was a real thing that the human race created.....done

  • Holy crap I remember this show! Childhood Bomb!

  • Still gives me goosebumps.Love the theme.

  • The children of today have been robbed of good cartoons instead they must see these one's that make no sense what so ever talk about dumbing down a generation

  • I was expecting this to look stupid, but really, it looks pretty good.

  • @VGRetro Back when everything wasn't, "Okay, so, let's throw in a mix of kids owning cool monsters, throwing cards at each other that call up monsters and make it just a giant pi**ing contest to see who is the world's ultimate super fighter from planet unnamed!" Also known as the time when real thought was put to a show's story line rather than how they can make it sell kids a bunch of stuff.

Despite the corniness, gotta wonder where the writers for this sort of cartoon went to.

  • @Ballira Well, I know that the guy who came up with the idea for this show was an illustrator for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. I guess that gives some idea.

  • Unfortunately, after the cartoon was cancelled, the entire cast was slaughtered to make burgers for the animators during the end of series party. NEVER MIND.

  • haha it only seems funny to me now that cows are riding horses..

  • I used to watch this show as a kid!

  • @Mattwav oh my god you watched this?!

  • Question: The reason why Cowboys were called Cowboys were because they drove cattle herds across the west, wouldn't it be really awkward if cows drove cows?

  • OH MY CHRIST I REMEMBER THIS SHOW

I mean I don't remember watching the show itself, but I know the the character designs, and the cheesey voices. Maybe I just saw the commercials a lot.

Wow. This was lodged sooooooo far back in my memory, and it's only thanks to Nostalgia Critic that I found it again. So um. Thanks, bro?

  • i can see why chester a bum was ashamed of nc for watching this

  • thumbs up if the Nostalgia Critic brought you here

  • Ahhh you mean from the 'Care Bears in Wonderland' reveiw?

  • I remember this show, I'd watch it on Saturday mornings and the intro always stuck in my mind. Always loved Westerns, even as a kid and this show only enforced it. Seeing it again now, all grown up, I can't help but get emotional about this.

  • i saw those Cowboys on TMNT Fast Forward Episode "Home Invasion"

  • I never saw this ...

  • now this one I absolutely loved as a kid, I think everyone went through a cowboy phase in their lives, its appealing to those who grew up with the old school serials and movies with john Wayne and the like and the kids of the time it was made who were at the age where they liked a lot of what their parents did, that and the song was and still is catchy

  • xD I remember this show far too easily. I think this is what got me into the furry fandom back when I was a kid.. Good show for always and ever.

  • this is fantastic my b/f and i were discussing cartoons of old and i vaguely remembered this show. But cartoon cows? I had to be making it up! BUT THEN! i remembered an arcade game in the pizza hut that had the "cowboys" on it and im so glad i found this!

  • Muito tosco este desenho de vacas do SBT!!!!

  • I remember playing the arcade game they made of this show.

  • does anyone know when this came out??!!

  • @njhsmommy9 in the uk it was around 94

  • Cows riding horses? Smh why did I watch this when I was growing up?maybe because it had a catchy intro? lol

  • ... This show was the reason I'm attracted to cowboys... I am scared by this fact now.

  • This cartoon proves to me one thing. My childhood was better than the current generations childhood.

    Fact.

  • @Sonfaro I don't know if I'd agree that we had it better than the current generation, but we definitely had it pretty darn good.

    I am the TippyToe Zombie

    I like to Limbo

Often I fall on people's heads

  • @Sonfaro Hell YEAH!!!!

  • @Sonfaro I'm not even a child of the 80's (b. 1994) and I agree with ya, I look at 80's & 90's shows and cartoons and I think "Effort, real effort", I look at a 2000's show and I think "How high were these people when they thought of this?". A lot of times I wish I was a child or teen of the 80's.

  • i hated the fact that i had

no cable tv and on one

    ABC station they play

    sports instead cartoons

so i had to go to my

    grandma house

    just to watch Sonic

    (Satam)

    and other Saturday Morning

    Cartoons

  • I remember this show and street sharks... I always found it odd that Bulls were riding horses... that horse would have had to be put down.

  • 2011 suck cartoon suck

  • Wow. This cartoon was crap. Even when I was little, I knew what was cool or not. It was all about captain bucky o'hare!

  • I remember watching this cartoon when I was really little along with ones like the rugrats and scooby doo

  • Yep, awesome theme song...but the show doesn't stand out in my memory

  • Needs to be on DVD.

  • Yo I remember this show...just because of the theme song that's why I liked this song I don't really remember the show...well some parts I remember but ya it was the theme song that was the only good thing about the show

  • i miss my childhood! :,( :(

  • I always hated this show because I was forced to watch it knowing that Sonic the Hedgehog (Satam) would follow after it.

  • i miss this show so much for cartoon bulls they were pritty cute

  • omg I remember owning a night light shaped like one of them! bahahaha badass!

  • BOOM! Nostalgia bomb!

Now I can only think of one show I watched as a kid, which I can't recall the title of. I'm pretty sure it involved koalas and log-cars...

  • @darken27 Did the Koala say "Extrordinary" at the end of each show? I think that one was called "Blinky Bill."

  • back when we were playing rampage kung fu and we didnt need to drink alchohol nor go to clubs to ACTUALLY HAVE FUN, just sit and watch TV yeehah

  • I GOT EM

    I DONT GOT EM

  • WTF IS THIS BULLSHIT? Did this only play in the deep South or something?

This shit never saw the light of day in the Northeast. Especially not in NYC.

    Holy shit.. This is atrocious...

  • @morpheusxnyc 1. wrong on all counts 2. judging things you know nothing about reflects badly on you (just so you know)

  • @Diavilos - 1) Okay, I don't ever remember seeing this in NYC growing up (I'm in my late 30s) and I can remember some REALLY obscure cartoons and kids programming.

    2) Umm, I'm judging this pile of poo based on what I SAW. I saw the concept, the intro and a bit of the cartoon and in my opinion, it's a ridiculous, perfectly horrid redneck trainwreck.

There was actually a "Yeeehaaaw!" in that clip. Tell me, in what part of the NorthEast did this show see the light of day?

  • @morpheusxnyc I remember but then I'm a bit younger. To answer your question it was the years 1992 + 1993 on abc before disney bought them then 1998- 2002 on toon disney. It was done by the same guy who made the ninja turtles and if your recall such things weren't that far a stretch for kids back then.

  • @Diavilos - Ah... It was the early 90s, not the 80s. No wonder. I knew I didn't see this growing up. I was to busy with high school, then college and getting laid to watch much of Saturday morning cartoons then.

I was still dead asleep when ABC broadcast this thing, usually hung over from the night before. lol

Still, it seems like an absurd concept capitalizing on the TMNT craze of the late 80s and the public's acceptance of anthropomorphized animals crossed with some hillbilly shit. lol

  • @morpheusxnyc Never actually saw it fair enough. Didn't care for this fine to each their own but again it was a different time. I just didn't care for how you said it (mainly the constant swearing) I liked a few shows back then that I think are stupid now but I keep those thoughts to myself that's all I was trying to say LATER.

  • Looking back I can see just how dumb this really was. Not to say that anything today is any better. THough I think it was the theme song that got us to watch. A good theme will sit us down long enough for us to hope the show is half as good. It almost never is.

  • i remember this riding on the tail of ninja turtles, completely missing the point of what made ninja turtles good. i made fun of the kids who liked this crap.

  • @lebensraummetal

    Which was what? Selling out?

As nostalgic as it was for both of us, you can't deny nearly every episode was designed to introduce and sell a potential toy. Same goes for Transformers.

I would make fun of people who accuse others of missing the point while completely missing the point themselves, but then I'd just be an asshole.

  • Oh crap, not this show!

  • cows riding horses ,wow that's imaginative!

  • @gtoykeeper yeah, just like mice riding bikes.

  • "yeah, just like mice riding bikes."

Or Mutant turtles who use ninja weapons and Martial arts.

Or Walkling, talking sharks for that matter..Lol.

After the success of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the 90's was a great time for all kinds of Mutant spin offs.

  • @richiefranklin76 you got that right!

  • Why do their chicks look like monkeys? :36

  • The only station that still carries saturday morning kids show is PBS.

  • Surprisingly I remember this cartoon, but it was all about bots master for me!

  • this was my favorite cartoon in 2nd and 3rd grade!! I still have the buffalo bull and boothill buzzard actions figures!

  • fuck yah i still have the toys....you could get them ay wolworths and shit hahasha

  • This used to come on saturday mornings, Now there's barely anything coming on for kids on saturdays from channels 4 from 9.

  • omg this is old!

  • u know how long i was looking for this...but i couldn't remember the name of the show.....i used to watch when i was a kid...

  • I remember seeing this everywhere but forgot what it was called.

  • Once again, I repeat. They are not on Mars! Comet hit and raised a miles wide plateau into the sky while the radiation mutated the creatures on it when it happened.

  • as a kid i loved this show. THis is when kids actually learned from cartoons. Like acutaul lessons of right and wrong and code of manly hood.

  • Tauren warriors protecting the barrens with pride.

  • There’s a lot of cartoon logic I can let slide i.e. Mickey MOUSE owning a pet DOG, or Winnie the pooh wearing a shirt and never any pants but I gotta draw the line at COWS riding HORSES the madness has to stop somewhere!!!!

  • 0:56 how many of u see what I see, from left to right? ..Modo (blue, serious strong one), Throttle (the "leading" bro) and Vinnie (the goofy one) :D

  • I had all these toys.

  • I loved this as a kid!

  • crappy animation....

  • Crappy animation?

The aniamtion on this is great, very polished and has virtually less errors than TMNT. However the idea and the plot really sucked ass though.

  • @BurnRoddy You wish you could think of something half as unique & creative as this show was! I'm sure your ideas suck ass though. If you had any.

  • Fuck you dude I loved this as a kid

  • @halloweencelts666 Dude, calm down. It was a ripoff of a good money making formula.

I'm NOT saying it isn't good, I love it. But don't pretend it wasn't based off the standard Anthropomorphic animal formula that TMNT popularized.

  • XD i enjoyed the videogame so much, now that i see them again i've come to thing tht these are actually cows riding a horse so funny...haha

  • Three biker mice from mars...And now this!

  • wow really they already show the villains face before the show even starts in the intro

r u kidding me? pointless to watch the show now

    0:42 dumb show now

  • LOL This shit is awful.

  • i seem to remember this being a pretty good show.

  • OMG I didnt think I would ever see this again.

  • OMG! I remember this cartoon from when I was a kid!

  • Jamas he visto esta serie, no tenia idea de que existieria....xD

  • I remember my mom told me that her and her sisters and brothers would wake up in the mornings and go to a friends house to watch cartoons because they did not have a TV at the time. Its true Saturday morning cartoons are not the same anymore. I tried watching it and I was like wondering what the....

  • REMEBER THIS LOL!

  • i used to hate this show, but yet I had one of the figures.lol

  • I knew it I KNEW IT! always knew that the all known konami game was from a cartoon and bucky o hare is a cartoon as well and ported to an arcade!

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT

  • Man i used to love the arcade game.

  • cows riding horses. I bet all of those cowboys have utters hehe

  • I remember this shit fucken A man

  • they just dont put the effort into intros these days like they used to

  • you're so right

  • I never liked this show that much... but the intro song is amazing, I watched this show just because of it.

  • Kra é incrível como a internet nos ajuda

meu eu assistia esse desenho quando eu tinha os meu ano 5, eu lembro até hoje, ele assistia sempre antes da van da Escola vir me buscar, que tempo bom

    que não volta, meu Deus!

  • Cows riding horses. Something doesn't seem quite right. Never thought of that when I was five.

  • Nostalgia :3

  • The women folk were real cows, huh?

  • best cartoon ever made in the 90's

  • welcome to the not distant mulgore

  • it must too heavy for a horse

to be ridden by a bull.

    hehehe

  • holy shit, i forgot all about this cartoon, what a blast of nostalgia

  • Boot Hill Buzzard rulz!

  • this was an answer to the heroic turtles craze

  • Ah, we must also remember Biker Mice from Mars, Street Sharks, and Bucky O'Hare.

  • yes ,,, yes i do

  • even as a kid it seemed odd?

  • What about Mice riding bikes...on MARS?

  • @DragonMasterMack They're not on mars, they're on earth. The comet created a huge area set apart from the rest of the earth in the 1800s, they based their society on the old west but often got things wrong thanks to incomplete information, thus their guns are weird, and they have airships and other things. It included elements of steam punk and weird west settings.

  • @DragonMasterMack I agree with ya mate...but in my childhood I didnt noticed it :D somehow I used watched it :D

  • the funniest part was that there are some characters who are horses that talk. when i was a kid i was like what like what the fuck?

  • @kevypaul10 ever heard of Horseland? where the horses only talk when the humans aren't around, the humans hear it as neighing.

  • @DragonMasterMack When you're a kid that sounds like the coolest thing ever. Wait a minute, did I say when you're a kid? "Cows are riding horses...on MARS?" ; AWESOME!

  • @DragonMasterMack lol i was about to say the same thing

  • @DragonMasterMack next your gonna say something stupid about the villains riding motor cycles, or how instead of shooting bullets they shoot badges.

  • @DragonMasterMack i wasa think that too lol

  • @DragonMasterMack You're thinking about Biker Mice From Mars. These COWboys are in Arizona/New Mexico.

  • I remember this Episode..

    Good old Days..

  • Awesome Billy Dean intro. Saw him in concert with Alan Jackson in 91. Don't laugh I was 8. This was right before country went down the shitter. Also this cartoon ruled!

  • In the days of 'BC' [before cable] there were good cartoons- Bugs Bunny, Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, The Herculoids, Tom and Jerry.

What do we have now? Garbage from Japan or crappy ass PC shows.

Bugs Bunny, JQ, et al were violent, yes, but violence was and is a part of society. The only decent cartoons CN ever had were Ed, Edd, and Eddy and Cow and Chicken.

  • Garbage from Japan and Crappy as PC shows?

So it's safe to assume you're an artard?

  • what are you talking about this ain't PC none of the shows in the 80's and early 90's were. Stuff we have now is full of PC bullshit and no violence whatsoever thanks to paranoid parents. And they're drawn like shit. I grew up during that time. Nobody ever worried about other people getting offended, people just watched TV and enjoyed it.

  • ive been looking for this for a long time

  • I was more fond of the arcade game of Moo Mesa than the show. Not that the show was that bad or anything.

  • Comment removed

  • All of them were bulls. LOL male cows are bulls regardless.

  • those are literally cowboys!!

  • What's the name of the blue bull? I loved him, so silent and awesome.

  • His name is The Dakota Dude. He was awesome.

The other two were Marshall Moo Montana and the Cowlorado Kid

  • This show was tha SHIT..I remember they used to have those Saturday morning preview shows on ABC on TGIF every fall and this was one show I couldnt wait for. They stopped em bout 3 years after this and it was just tha Sylvester and Tweety show and a few Disney shows then I got back to FOX saturday mornings when they started having good shows again and alas that failed too.I couldnt tell ya what was on Saturday mornings now looks like crap wheneva I try to catch it

  • I was curious myself to see what was left of Saturday morning cartoons, so I set aside one weekend to see. I was disappointed to see the following:

Fox: two hours of Archie's Weird Mysteries, then infomercials.

    ABC: News.

NBC: News and then an hour of live-action educational animal programs with kids.

CBS: News and then an hour of some kind of pony cartoon.

The WB (or CW now) is the only one with a real block, though it is 4Kids. All reruns except Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.

    Nothing like the past...

  • Nobody cares anymore about Saturday Morning Cartoons anymore. Sad to see that American Tradition fading away. Those have existed since the dawn of television. My dad in the 50 and 60's watched them back when he was small.

  • i agree dude remember back in the 80's when they would those 30 min preview specials of cartoons that was gonna be out in the fall? that was like our superbowl lol. ur right cartoon have gotten way too pc nowadays .now on abc u got disney running live action stuff the cw dies 4 kids which everything is all watered down pretty much .

  • I blame 4kids They already got Kids WB and Fox Kids in the Chicago area

  • @Luigi84289

saturday morning cartoons also in germany tradition, but also fading :(

  • @Luigi84289 u r right about that

  • @Luigi84289 agreed, saturday cartoons, i use to wake up at 5am tto start the watching them, and then by 10 am it was time to go play sports. Gone are the good days!!!

  • @Luigi84289 agreed, saturday cartoons, i use to wake up at 5am tto start twatching them, and then by 10 am it was time to go play sports. Gone are the good days!!!

  • @Luigi84289 I know. Plus nobody anymore makes good music anymore.

  • You don't realize how corny some of the cartoons are when you're a kid...But that in no way takes away from their sheer awesomeness. On the mesa...lol. Classic

  • so thats what happened to Moo Mesa, they got it better than Black Mesa

  • This cartoon came from the age of what I call GOLDEN SATURDAYS. Since today's saturday cartoons are a bore I just watch anime online. Disney sucks now.

  • dakota was always my fave

  • this was my shit as a kid

    lol

  • LOL oh man I remember this all too well.

  • such great memories,

  • Haha i totally forgot about this one until now. So ridiculous

  • even when i was young i thought it was kind of stupid that they rode horses :S hahahaha the intro was an awesome song tho

  • Wow this shit takes me back.

  • Good memories

  • Good memories. ^^

  • no shit.......fucking dumbass this show was the shit back in the day

  • Close, they're bulls.

  • TAUREN!

  • i dont remember when, but i do vaguely remember watching this... strange.
