@rdrakken I would add that before everyone went into debt during the recession Bush laid the building blocks to bury the people in more debt. Bush wanted to privatize social security into the stock market which collapsed. Bush passed Ceck 21 legislation that made it harder to get out of debt and easier for banks to get you into it, by charging larger overdraft fees.

Everyone knows that Bush allowed the insurance and utility companies run amok raising rates well above previous levels, in some area's almost 200% higher during his reign. Everyone knows that Bush's policies killed the I4 connection that took almost 20 years to build and Florida went from being #2 in the nation in the tech industry to out of the top 15.
BTW, a Democrat with a Republican run congress did that to the banks.

@rdrakken I would add that before everyone went into debt during the recession Bush laid the building blocks to bury the people in more debt. Bush wanted to privatize social security into the stock market which collapsed. Bush passed Ceck 21 legislation that made it harder to get out of debt and easier for banks to get you into it, by charging larger overdraft fees.

He talked about a ownership society and mailed out stimulus checks, tax incentives to buy SUV,s before they hicked up gas prices. We started loosing jobs. I think it was all intentional and part of a plan.
