There is no wrong way to progress with Skateboarding, there lays the beauty of it. You can do what you please as you please. :) The only thing I would say is trying it rolling, it's much more fun when doing it in lines!

This is one of my favorite trick and it is cool. I can do it, but sometimes when i land it the board goes flying doing like a flip.

FFS!!!! i can get the board to scoop and what not but i cant land!@!@ its pissing me off! ok heres what happens... i get low and jump but the front comes up with me and my foot grips it and dosnt alow it to spin. but if i dont go low i dont get high with my feet and my feet hit the ground b4 my wheels... plz help bro

Ok, you should try and learn this trick in little "steps". First, just try popping the board and figuring out the spin. Your back foot should be doing all of the work (except for catching the board, but that comes later). Once you have figured out the spin, then gradually try to get both feet on the board. If you post a video of what you're doing, I could help you more.
