You know I've only ever met a politician once and that was our local Labor candidate this year Ricahrd Marles who was door knocking the neighbourhood. Seems to be an unofficial campaign uniform - the business shirt, sans tie with rolled up sleeves - not sure why Mr Turnbull choose to accessorise with the red cardigan!
Some people are raising the suggestion that Costello's retirement to the back bench is only temporary until Nelson stuffs it badly and people are begging for a pair of 'experienced' hands.
Deposed to opposition I have no doubt that Costello would be looking to the Howard experience for the possibility to remake himself as a leader!
