They now know through their father being well known, but he didn't want to tell them himself, because he said that he believed that his children should be allowed to decide for themselves what to believe in, and that not subjecting them to his atheist views was a part of this. Children are so easy to influence, and I hope that you don't do what many Christians do, except with Atheism.

Speaking as an atheist, don't you think you should allow your children to make their own decision about religion? You don't have to impose (maybe you don't) atheism and your children will embrace atheism if they think reason is of higher value than faith. If you teach them to be racist at an early enough age they will be racist, and its the same with religion. As long as there is a law saying that u can't do certain things with your body, and not take in certain things into your own body. There should also be a law against what u think, and believe. Religion should be outlawed, and religious people should get the same treatment as any guy who has gotn arrested for smoking pot, or escort for selling sex.
