  • genius, nuff said. I hope his words reach some people.

  • i would have liked to have shook this gentleman's hand. he is just a dude, but a wonderful orator, logician, and champion for a better world.

  • WoW...what a brilliant man.

  • Stay cool, Hitch

  • I and others do think that religion is, in a word, stupid, but at least a lot of religious thinkers aren't Marxist and don't believe in a dialectic of lower wealth for everyone else when the capital rentier takes wealth for good allocations of capital as opposed to misallocations and faulty controls, imputing the signals that reduce our spendthrifts' excess to prevent strain on living standards and whose entrepreneurialism raises wages beyond what labour could take if in control of capital.

  • Indeed the Socialist exploitation doctrine and its intellectually bankrupt anti-usury ethics totally ignore how the market test of whether labourers work expediently and correctly, extends also to how capital is used so that full time workers as managers rather than labourers become the most important providers of wealth in waiting for income from productions they direct to the effect that more capital accumulation and higher wages result for those who rely on these directive agents and if

  • and if we didn't have such differences in potential ability then our saving of wages or direct borrowing of capital would allow us to prove that potential within us, for profit precisely for those who allocate such a good potential new capitalist. So where's the capital concentration mechanic here and the inevitability of common ownership? See how Marxism is garbage? Yet leftist Hitchens thinks that Islamic control of oil somehow coerces us to pay when they rely on our trade too and when

  • and when any exploitation alleged by the vendors in their setting price signals to govern oil consumption, could be undercut by investing in producing oil by means of other agencies in control of it, or does that not sit well with the notion that private ownership is a means of extortion? God I hate the self-righteous economic illiterates on the left.

  • So finally, our great genius Christopher Hitchens believes in economically illiterate gospel of materialist supposition of physical rather than mental and entrepreneurial provision of wealth, in the totality of labour's part in all provision of value, and in there being anything substantial to suppositions of institutional change from mitigated property rights to pure capitalism motivated by material change as if that controls if property rights are protected or not and

  • and as if that supposedly triumph of Lockean capitalism through the sheer material advent of metallic industry implies in the existence of rent of producer goods i.e. capital, the concentration of wealth to the rentiers, as if the tenants don't benefit and as if the wage labourers couldn't have capital DISPERSED profitably to that rent if they would but think how to run it rather than expecting more wealth from just being a component of production in already supplied labour.

  • So not only is the concentration doctrine and the dialectic flawed according to the mechanics of property rights and the utility to everyone else of the good provision of more wealth per labour applied from those who can use investors' capital well as directors, so that the exploitation doctrine of a zero sum game for the rentier's takings, is wrong and doesn't imply concentration but allows dispersion of capital for income for the rentier-selector and the investee, but it

  • but it is also totally epistemologically flawed at its ground level first principles from which the marxist dialectic is ill-deduced, when what has as its full extent its collapse by dint of what it subsisted on exploitatively being factored out of the equation by its extent such as uneconomic socialism removing all capitalism from which to leech or a black hole removing all matter from without it to further grow within, HAS IT'S NADIR as its nadir, not its zenith as its

  • as its nadir, indeed that is the conflation of zenith with the full extent of a phenomenon whose subsistence is incompatible with the absence of that whose absence is implied in the full extent of that thing thereby making its full extent its self defeat; so that the self-defeat is due to some incompatibility with reality's laws of how it may exist, when it has extended to that degree, so that the phenomenon DOES NOT self-contradict internally so dialectical metaphysics=shit

  • It would be ironic if some maleducated Marxist coward were 2 decide 2 eject my text from being viewable on this page given his allegiance 2 Hitchens and 'freedom of speech.' Of course there exists no such (or indeed any) positive freedom inherently grantable/available in this world of scarcity but there is the capacity 4 productivity in the social order with undesirable output making losses so voluntary exchange/private control tested by the market, assists positive ability.

  • Having just eviscerated Marxism and all anti-rent and price signal, anti private ownership concentration and exploitation doctrines against property rights, I must humbly say that I have just found out that none other than tawdry actress Sharon Stone has a high IQ. It really must be down to education then and not natural intelligence, if one has been taught true social science or if one is some Marxist so Hitchens MAY be a genius but an economic and social-science illiterate

  • @cannotbebothered100 Did you wait till he was dead to come out with such rubbish incase he caught you and pointed out it as such....Really! I think you just like the sound of your own discourse too much. But I'm all for freedom of speech lol

  • fuck yeah, i'll stay cool for you Hitchens. :D

  • What a G.

  • Rest In Peace

  • will miss the man

  • What a courageous man he was!

  • Night , night , stay cool .

God rest your sweet soul .

  • most athiests have a higher IQ than religious people and that's a fact

  • @hunkyjelly though it is largly irrelevant, as athiest are more common among the better educated and even then they are a large minority.

  • @muta4thefail and now he is in HELL

  • @timeisupUS Hell doesn't exist. I'm afraid your hatred will have to burn inside you for the time being. Christopher is gone, and your petty uninspired slurs change nothing. He'll be missed.

  • @andromidius you just keep telling yourself that , you will have no excuse on judgment day. youve heard the words. its burn baby burn for all eternity .

  • @hunkyjelly obviously youre not one of them

  • @timeisupUS what lead you to that uneducated conclusion?

  • @hunkyjelly your stupid comment

  • @timeisupUS so i'm a christian then? nice logic fail

  • One of my favorite speeches by Hitch, and the one I turned to tonight when I heard of his passing. He was the voice of reason for many in the freethought community, and will be missed terribly.

  • @ReallyImportantWork Where is your proof that a level of conspiracy of this level exists? If you think your claim has any relevant importance you should be willing and able to present robust and substantial evidence to support it, starting with the existence of Satan and the implication that an entire group of people are inhibited from telling the truth by it. Furthermore, if you don't have any solid evidence you shouldn't spread such filth, because there is real harm done by such nonsense

  • Whatever else we may think of him, this guy can talk!

  • Thank you for posting this, MrOpendialogue.

  • America is absolutely communist controlled. Without free speech, a nation is gulled into mass stupidity and the allusion that total nihilism is a safety net .

  • @Hogorina What are you talking about?

  • This nation's fall was predicted when Art.6, Sec.6 was grandfathered into the Constitution. This inserted into the document after it was ratified by the states. Our eventual overthrow was planned three hundred years past. Most likely, by the bank of England and through the Rothschilds.

  • "Religion should be treated with ridicule and hatred contempt", Hitchens says. He also supports the cartooning of Islam. Yet, in the 4 Horseman videos he condemns Andres Serrano's work and compares him to a church burner. I'm a Hitchens fan, but either he has a soft spot for christian iconography or his commitment to free speech isn't as solid as he'd have us believe.

  • @DamonIcke Does he call for it to be censored, though? Free speech extends to our ability to criticise the actions and beliefs of others.

  • Brilliant!

  • @matchbox555 You either weren't listening, or aren't keen enough to have caught on.

  • @adrasvaiyen hes a pompous waste of time

  • @matchbox555 Religion is a pompous waste of time. Just because you are intimidated by him doesn't mean his words don't have substance.

  • @adrasvaiyen he has no substance, hes all pomp, he likes to showcase his knowledge whether its relevant or not, he makes no solid points, all he has said is free speech is good.. well yeah we know.. thanks for telling is einstein. Chomsky is far far better than Hitchens, Chomsky actually makes solid points that you may not have thought about before, he makes Hitchens look like a schoolboy.

  • @matchbox555 Chomsky hasn't said anything new in 30 years, and whenever confronted with any contradictory material he shrugs it off and minimizes it - hardly the shining voice of free speech. Chomsky has illuminated many dark topics for the masses and for that deserves praise, and his reasoning is still quite strong, but his opinions are predictable; in that respect he might as well be Glenn Beck or J. Garofalo...

  • @Relbl Norman Finklestein is a GREAT man, check out "the holocaust industry"..

  • @matchbox555 are we on the same planet? did we watch the same video... what the fu<k are you talking about. His talk speaks volumes to the complete insanity of the current belief system that 95% of the world still clings to in modern times.

  • what law exactly is he talking about? just the hate speech law?

  • @tylermanchesteruntd All laws that restrict free speech.

  • @MrOpendialogue Thanx for posting this(again). Its great if you put the exact wording of the proposition for the debate in your description. If you have it of course. Cheers

  • @tylermanchesteruntd Search for Mark Steyn or Ezra Levant with free speech in the search here on youtube. They will explain it totally.

  • @tylermanchesteruntd

Its the laws in Germany & austria + others that make it not only a crime to deny the holocaust but also so much as express skepticism about the "official story" and the number of victims, If you say there was only 3 million victims instead Six Million you go straight to Jail.

  • I'd like to see the Incredible Hulk fight Whitney Houston. Peter Cook & Dudley Moore = the answer: cook more, to the question: What kills bacterial contaminants? Here I recline menaced by lunar bleedings; weaked by monthly bloodlettings; discommoded by all acts menstrual. Here I swim by what's left of fish; hopscotch among the fallen blackbirds whilst breathing lungfuls of aluminum sprayed from aeroplanes to decimate in number of we who impugn mommy blue. [Beautiful women are privileged.]

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • Spot on! I don't subject my kids to religious garbage. Thank you Hitch for reinforcing this.

  • @djdanaman You know, Hitch once said that he didn't want his children to know he was an atheist, that's right. They now know through their father being well known, but he didn't want to tell them himself, because he said that he believed that his children should be allowed to decide for themselves what to believe in, and that not subjecting them to his atheist views was a part of this. Children are so easy to influence, and I hope that you don't do what many Christians do, except with Atheism.

  • @djdanaman you can thank him when you see him in hell and your kids will spit in your face in hell too

  • Speaking as an atheist, don't you think you should allow your children to make their own decision about religion? You don't have to impose (maybe you don't) atheism and your children will embrace atheism if they think reason is of higher value than faith. After having heard a video about free speech, it seems that you have missed his first point that both the speaker's and the audience's right is at stake.

  • @karangmail15 This assumes that your children are mature, intelligent and raitional which you know they aren't. If you teach them to be racist at an early enough age they will be racist, and its the same with religion. If you think, as rational people do, that region is a silly and malicious fairy story then you would be doing a disservice to your kids not to let them know that.

  • Absolutely a new fan.

  • like

  • As long as there is a law saying that u can't do certain things with your body, and not take in certain things into your own body. There should also be a law against what u think, and believe. Religion should be outlawed, and religious people should get the same treatment as any guy who has gotn arrested for smoking pot, or escort for selling sex. I would rather stand beside a homless crack addict who didn't believe in God and religion. Then a wealth religious person.
