hey i found th real way to play the base notes to the song Hammer A on the 2nd play the 6th string twice on the third, next hammer A on the 2nd play A twice on the third, next hammer d on the 2nd then play twice And you want to mute in between the the time your getting ready to do it the second time if it doesnt sound right your hammering to fast let the note ring out a little bit not to much you still need to hammer just play it nice and smooth and to the beat listen to the song first

hey toa ll you people out there looking for the real base note beginning i found it in 5 min or less by myself and it sounds exactly like the actual Song: open a hammer, twice on the 6th string, hammer a then play a one the 3rd fret twice, then for the high part Hammer d string on second fret then play twice quickly muting the in between of playing it twice and if it does not sound right it is because you need to here the string play clearly but quickly before you hammer and if you do it right

Man, it's F, Bb and C. I know that's how one of the tabs show it but that tab on UG doesn't include the fact that the guitars suppose to be tuned a step down instead of standard then your chords will work. Those of you who don't want to tune your guitars different just go with F, Bb and C then figure it out by listenin' to it repeatedly and just figurin' it out yourselves. Also last note to buddy who made the video, try to learn the songs before posting the video alright brah. Peace.

Hey, good video. I think though on the second variation of picking, the more accurate one, actually goes from twice on A string 1st fret, once on A string 3rd fret, once on open D, then BACK to 3rd fret on A sting instead of D string. ooooor i could be totally wrong, so sorry if i am lol. great videos though, ive learned a lot of songs from you, thanx :)

i myself think the easy way of playing the intro is the right way.

if you look at the root notes(the sustaining notes in the intro), you will see they are the same as the root notes in the chord version of the song.

just to make it easy for common people:

the notes played in the easy way of playing the intro by single picking are the same pitch as the ones in the chord version of the intro (which are G, C, and D)

You had it right on the second and it is not too low. This song is also tuned a half step down also. It also sounds better not playing chords during verse, you can sing over the bass line it sounds better.

i find it a lot easier playing the G chord and hitting the low E string twice then strumming down switching to C chord hitting the A string twice strumming down switching to D chord hitting the D string twice strumming down then back to C chord strumming up and down. that's just how i play it. good video

well you can play a G chord with your ring finger playing the low e string or your middle finger, it all depends on which fingering of the G chord you prefer
