Just got my 4th Hemi (2003 - 2500 Quad Cab) (2006 -Quad Cab) (2008-1500 Quad Cab - Engine Blew at 92,000) newest is a 2012 Reg Cab Express Hemi) The 2003 -2500 was fast 18" tires but the new 2012 is better.
Gotta love that Hemi! I have a 2010 1500 TRX4 with a K&N intake, Magnaflow exhaust, and Hypertech Max Energy programmer. Before the intake my best 1/4 was 15.01. After bigger BFG's and intake it was 15.05 with 62000mi. I never had it dyno'd. Sucks.
@super87cole Every vehicle manufactured has drivetrain loss. If you don't think 306HP to the rear wheels is alot, drive one! It'll change your opinion! = P
@HemiSuperTruck im just suprised thats all. i no a guy who dyno his 2011 silverado 6.2 and it put out 401hp and 415lb/ft bone stock with 13.456 km on it. it was only 2hp and 2 lb/ft of its factory rating.. maybey beacuse its a bigger engine hmmm
thanks for the dyno man i got 3.55 gears so im not sure if the numbers would be changing around too much but i know it hauls ass like a bat out of hell. and it too is completely stock nothin done to it just kept up with oil changes and just a lil while ago the spark plugs which are a bitch to do but any idea on what 3.55 gears would do to hp and tq numbers?
@dodgeperformance1 I'm not really 100% sure. I know my previous truck, 05 ram 1500 had 3.55 gears. 3.55 vs 3.92? I know you'll lose a little TQ to the rear wheels, but not sure about HP. Being that 3.55's are more efficient at higher speeds. If you ever get to the dyno, let me know what you run. I'd like to see the difference. I now have a vararam, and exhaust, so I plan on doing another run in about 2 months.
@HemiSuperTruck oh and by the way for you year they didnt have the lifetime warranty correct? mine was an 09 and i just barely snagged that warranty. i was thinkin of puttin a mild exhuast from magnaflow nothin too aggressive just somethin to hear when the pedal is halfway down to full have a nice roar and im plannin on gettin an air locker or elocker cuz im plannin on towin a 10,000lbs 5th wheel trailer soon
@dodgeperformance1 Lucky! I only got the 3yr/36K mile basic limited warranty, and the 5yr/100k mile powertrain warranty. I have a couple vids on my you-tube account of the 14" magnaflow, and also one with the resonators removed. If that's a little loud for you, I'd go with the 18". Both have great sounds for a muscle truck!. 18's just a little quieter. Haven't gotten into lockers, but I heard the air lockers are pretty badass. Sounds like some good mods planned!
@HemiSuperTruck yea man i need the lockers cuz i do a lot of offroadin from time to time and the 3.55 gears is an open diff wich sucks doin almost one wheel peels all the time but it breaks both lose sometimes and then its gets a lil wild with it. and yea i like the mopar intake but its pretty damn expensive ill probly make one from pvc and yea i was lookin into the 18" from magnaflow. id love to cam it but the warrant wont let me and for laudness cant cuz my jerk off neighbors
@dodgeperformance1 dont like the noise when people floor it down the street adn they already gave me a ticket for our 2 tiny dogs for bein to loud would you believe that? they only weigh like 6 or 7 pounds but also cuz i wanna make it a sleeper a lot of hondas and other cars think just cuz its a truck its slow but i prove them wrong every single time haha
@dodgeperformance1 Haha sleeper truck would be tits! My parents have 2 doberman pinchers. Small little dogs as well, but loud as hell! They'll bark at everything!
@HemiSuperTruck hell yea a sleeper is what ima try for but usually ever performance mod makes it louder haha. but daily driver i just raced a honda the other day covered with stickers claiming to have a spoon motor and the HEMI badge on my truck proved his was bull cuz i murdered his car from a stop and from highway speeds love this truck
Should be home from deployment in about 45 days. At that point I'm gonna throw and intake on and I'll dyno again. Prolly the Vararam, but if they haven't release it for production yet, then I'll just buy a volant.
Nope sorry it would be a 6.4 for 2011. and Chrysler would never put a SRT8 motor in a truck (unless its a Jeep). Its very unfortunate. But i can safely tell you if they did, it would be making every bit of 500hp and 520 lb/tq! But dodge did offer a SRT10(Viper motor) from like 03-06 and it make similar numbers. i guess this is why. DK, no one will ever know.
@HemiSuperTruck I'll probably be cammed by December, but I'll be down to race for sure. I know with that deployment money, that truck will be seeing some nasty numbers soon. Thanks for what you do! Message me when you return and we'll see if we can get a run in. As far as the guy talking about Titan rear ends, this is my first rear end and I've had absolutely no trouble out of it. This truck screams and has held together amazingly.
A buddy told me about this truck. Where you located, I have an 08 Titan that really likes to race hemis. If you wanna run em, I'm in Conway and always ready. Also real impressed with that dyno for a stock truck, not bad at all. I should be putting down around 320 or so right now with about 360tq if I had to guess
@TapoutTitan26 I'm actually deployed right now, and unfortunately the truck got some tornado damage, she should be out of the shop in 3 weeks, and I should be back home by december. I'll let you know and maybe we'll do some runs?
Thanks for posting this!! I modded my truck before I dyno'd it so I didn't have a baseline. Now I do (kinda) lol!! Other than the color your truck is identical to mine.
@chevyblows2001 The 345hp rating is SAE NET. That is flywheel HP with accessories on the front of the engine, the rwhp will be less than the SAE NET by 10-20%. The 2009-11's are rated at 390 SAE NET.
@chevyblows2001 the new ones are 390. at the crank. you loose hp through the tranmission. ur 345 hp truck gets about 260 i imagine at the rear wheels. mabey a little more becuase you have the 4:56 gears i believe?
@RM250D8rzr yeah mine has 4.56 gears. i just had to get all new ball joints put in and now mt calipers are hanging up gettin real hot and smellin like burnt rubber shit
I'd let it break in about 1k miles more.

@super87cole the HP/TQ rating they give you on the advertisements is at the crank, not rear wheel. as hemisupertruck said, every vehicle has a loss.

whats the gas milage with the 3:92 rear end as apposed to the 3:55?
StreetGlideF7 6 months ago
@StreetGlideF7 better acceleration and and gas mileage at lower speeds 20-45, lil worse at 65+, but nothing that you would notice too much.

Is that on your 2nd or 3rd rear end? LOL.The Nissan Titan rear ends are a joke.
You have good power in that Rice burner, but no- where to put it. Shame on them.
