That aside, to be fair purely in terms of game design, while you can't save and only get three lives you do get a seven-hit (replenishable) health bar. And plenty of games at that time didn't have a save feature. Didn't make it right, but it was like the commonly missing feature for it's time

Ah man I have not played this game in months its pretty nice and the GameBoy Batman Theme FTW Konami knew how to make kickass music. Tho I am kinda annoyed that batman can really only Punch and use some of his gadgets.

I remember when my parents brought me this game as a kid. I loved batman, but this game gave me nightmares it was insanely hard. Good job :D
