@kalijasin but wouldn't you want to know if a car is coming behind you, a mad dog is growling, or some crazy person is shooting a gun in the distance? Hearing isn't so bad. It's helped the human race all this time.
@evelsteev There is no need whatsoever for me to know when a car is behind me if I am in a crosswalk with the white cross sign lit up or if I am on a sidewalk. Besides, I am not blind. I can see in all directions 360.

@kalijasin but you would rather them die, because they can't hear? That makes no sense. I've been almost run over 3 times in my life, while walking down the street. The drivers all said they didn't see me. I knew they were coming at me because I heard their engines first, then I turned my head towards them to look at them. That's how I avoided them, by hearing them coming.
@evelsteev You are justifying homicide by suggesting its the deaf persons fault because he or she is not implanted? Sorry, but that's pretty sick; that's crazy psycho stuff.

@evelsteev I'm not even going to continue to entertain your insanity. No one in their right mind believes you only have a right to not be a victim if you are hearing.
adorable boy :) I have a cochlear implant on my right ear...I had 2 times surgery on same right ear due to the problems :( I guess this is my last time to use cochlear Implant in future. I hope Alex do well with his CI, I pray for him!

Its so sad that hearing people do not accept the Deaf and are always having to change us.
kalijasin 5 months ago
@kalijasin but is change always bad?
evelsteev 5 months ago
@evelsteev When its hearing people trying to force change on the Deaf it is.

@kalijasin who's said I was justifying homicide? I was talking about avoiding danger. There's a difference.
