Mohini is so awesome! She coaches at my gym (Cascade All Stars) in Oregon, but I'm not on team yet so I haven't actually been coached by her :[ Her baby is sooooo cute, her husband brings him in all the time....

She did Vault and Beam in finals only. She was put in for beam when Kupets pulled out with a leg injury. Floor was Humphrey, Patterson and Kupets.

@jrelite1 she definitely did floor. whether she was originally intended to, who knows? but when she scored the top score on fx for the usa in team prelims, she got put in team finals for floor.

She also did beam and scored 9.400 out of 9.700 SV - (solid routine but missed some conections). She replaced Kupetz, kind of last minute change, because Kupetz's ankle injury.

Carly had the highest score of ANY gymnast in the prelims that only performed one vault. Kupets was a good two tenths lower. Why would they use Kupets when her vaulting was much weaker?

Yeah, if she and Annia Hatch only earned scores in the 9.5 range for their awesome technique and good form, then the Romanians should have been scored lower cause all but Rosu had shady vaults.

This double-twisting Yurchenko vault only has a SV of 9.80! Moh got a 9.5, which is excellent! No woman got higher than 9.7 in these Olympics on vault! Monica Rosu won the event with a vault above the 9.6 range, but she had a SV of 10,00! (Yurchenko with 2&1/2 twists)

I agree! She got ripped on the score though. Her form is excellent, unlike the romanians on that vault who scored just as high. If the romanians were getting 9.4's and 9.5's, Mo should have been in the 9.6-9.75 range!

Ugh, yeah on vault they were always overscored in the 90's for sure. Their versions of the Phelps was quite horrible with all the piking, yet they always scored extremely high (i.e. Amanar).
