I thought my birds are the only ones like that too but I was watching your video and seen some of them peek in then walk back out, some pisser sometimes but I have to make some covers like you did to your trap door so they wont be thinking about sliding out... do you think if I make the entrance a little skinnier (with a cover like yours) will make them think to fly in and dont wak back out, I hope it works but I have to cut woods 1st to find out...
Won't make a difference. See, our pad are inside the trap, so once they step on it and get clocked, I don't care if they go in right away or not. They'll go in eventually. Getting clocked is the most important thing on race day.
Do you think using the sputnik makes it faster for them to trap in? I've seen some faciers uses this trap but Im wondering what if some of my stock birds use that and fly away so thats a bye bye for me right? I think having the bobs works for me better, just wanna know your opinion...
stockbirds rarely make a dash for freedom i have a pair of whites and they never try and fly away even when the door is open or the sputnick open!!(maybe im just lucky??

The only reason why they dont trap in that day is they are half way full and dont want to rest inside...
