Thanks for posting this. I found it hilarious. It was the first car that I got to drive after getting my license. We had a blue convertible. The "mercomatic" tranny was a true slushbox and got to 60mpg in about 20 seconds. The "terrific" vinyl seats provided many burns after this vehicle sat in the sun. We had it for 8 years and it really didn't have any mechanical problems.
