@MrToastOmnomnom Sadly, a Mage Knight base does not fit in a standard d20 square which is what all D&D maps consist of...plus, the clicks and numbers don't do much in an RPG environment. A new base means you can add all sorts of flock combinations and really enhance the piece.
Troll and Toad: DreamBlade 35 cents for a single random, or Mage Knight 25 cents for a single random, it's pretty cheap and I'm glad I found a video for the DB they looked opposing.
@EdwardXVI I think a big ol' box of randoms is a great way to start any one's re-basing minis project but try to cut the addiction after a few big hauls. It starts to make less economical sense after a while (where specific singles makes more sense).
Thanks for this video! I came across 7 boxes of Dreamblade minis for $3 a pop and I scooped them up to use for D&D. I'll use this tutorial as my inspiration for cutting through the bases and make some proper Medium and Large creatures.
BTW you might go to my channel and check my vids out and tell me what you think. I just did my first vids and would like as much feedback as I can get. You might find the crystals interesting... Also going to be putting up a bunch more terrain vids here in the near future you might like. Let me know.. :o) ~Jim
Hey Ben. Not bad at all. But I question Why not just cut them all like the big ones. Add some flock and tallas and be done? Just looking for your insight
@jimeronimo I'm really bad at cutting things so I do what I can hot knife-wise and try not to burden my father-in-law too much (just the real toughys/thick ones).
why would you wanna take them off the base?

@CrescentScar As they say in Robin Williams' Paradise movie, "we scored!". Well done - that's a steal of a price.

You never cease to amaze me on the various different gaming systems you pick up miniatures to use in your D&D games bud!

@VividAdventures2010 hehe - thanks. I will not use cardboard tokens as my minis. It's just not right:)
