  • If things keep going the way they've been going the past month, Obama is going to win by a large margin. It surprises me, I thought Americans were much more racist. The only poll that really counts is the one on the first Tuesday of November.

  • You're right... That's the poll that counts.

  • wow 4 kids in a class, thats amazing, as for the poles i agree there not worth the paper there writen on hun, love n hugs jade xxx

  • ;-)

  • "...before heading for school"? Do you mean postgraduate studies for a doctorate in the States?

  • Nope. Diploma in Ministry.

  • Another great video!

    1. I think its awesome that you have small classes. I totally agree in that the quality of education is much better with more personalized teaching to each student.

    2. Whatever the outcome of the election, it will definately be interesting. The debate last night sure was.

    3. Are you able to vote while in Korea?

  • The US has a program where you register with the embassy to obtain an absentee ballot. many here also register with their state to obtain a ballot as well and have it mailed here.

It's quite easy to vote abroad.

  • Yeah, who knows how this election will wrap up - if people get complacent because they think Obama has it in the bag, then it could possibly shift things toward McCain.

And glad to hear you're enjoying your stint over there (and we can see it in your big smile too)!

    :-)

  • ;-) Thanks Curt!

  • Ha ha cool

I am off to try and write upside down!

  • ;-) Cool Paris!

  • Something to impress your next students with :P

  • lol

  • With that voice of yours, as well as your speaking skills, you ought to be host of a travel show or a documentary on television. Or even a reporter on PBS...

  • Completely agree. Mesmerizing!

  • QI=GOD

I looked up the dictionary and it says god is someone who is admired very much.

  • Perhaps one day.

  • I've done a lot of the reading backwards thing myself in graphic design, the problem is if you do it too much you can't tell if words are backwards or upside down. Maybe I'm just a little dyslexic, most artist are.

  • It's been like a year!

    5 *****

  • nah

  • Where's my shout out?

  • lol

  • We used to practice writing upside down and backwards when we were kids. Now I'm going to have to see if I can do it. Oh! Mirror writing was the rage then too. I'm guessing it was the early sixties or thereabouts... Yeah, 4 months! I still say that the kids have gotten as much or more out of it than you have. You are so right about the election - I too hope for a huge turnout. I had to read Obama's book in order to understand why he was the best choice. But it was a very worthwhile endeavor.

  • That is debatable... but I try my best. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

  • Thanks for sharing you great experiences you have had since being in Korea.

  • It's been a blast. I'll look to continue to do the same in Oz.

  • I checked online and they got my form, my address is current and I am an active voter now! I just have to wait until my ballot comes in the mail!

  • Excellent!

  • Funny thing about writing, our brains process what is happening on the left or the right, as you know, if you need to write upside down the opposite side of your brain that you normally write with will take over. With practice you won't even have to think about it.

  • true

  • i'm gonna vote 1x for myself..then a couple for my kids and maybe 1x for my cat!

  • lolololololol

  • Nothing better than truly enjoying your job! You are truly Blessed!

  • werd

  • I am a Canadian at school in America right now and I am loving watching election debate in my political science class. Canada just had federal election yesterday (another conservative minority gov't) and I can't help but compare the two countries and I notice now more then ever how much the media controls what the public thinks. American politics are so sensationalized and dramatic... it's more entertaining and surprising than a soap opera!!!!! Love your vids, as always. karoju82 :)

  • This is like the biggest campaign in years, hopefully it'll get more people to vote, you are very right about exciting.

  • Thanks. I really wish more people would sit down and really investigate the candidates rather than rely on the media.

  • Amen to that brother!

  • agreed, the drama brings more viewers but does NOT bring more informed and truly caring voters

  • lord its been 4 months..

  • Yup.

  • wow 4 months already. Time it flies...

  • That it does.

  • YES RON PAUL 3RD PARTY NOW

  • lol

  • 4 months already. Has it gone fast or slow? Seems to have gone fast for me watching. :P

I agree with you on polls. They are very arbitrary. When I studied Sociology we learned a lot about surveys and such and how easy it is to manipulate them.

  • Very fast. This year will be over before I know it.

  • Well I don't think either major candidate should be president but that is neither here nor there. ;p

    Ron Paul 2008. *smiles*

    - Heidi

  • lol - at least you're voting. I really hope to see a 70%+ turnout.
