@H3lzsn1p3r Because noone is stupid enough quite yet to take their 50k+ pick-up through a foot deep worth of mud. Though there's a couple around here of a Raptor mudding, just not mud bogging like you're probably expecting.
@H3lzsn1p3r True, but unfortunately most people who buy these sorts of vehicles are in their mid to late 50's with no intention of driving it like it was built for. There's a guy who has two of them that I see all the time, he's 53 and when I asked him if he intends on taking it to our offroad parks in Haspin, he looked at me puzzled and said kindly ''no''
okay how in the world did this come from looking at a truck on youtube to a battle between eupeon idoits and american die hards all the same put any european vechile off road against the raptor my moneys on the raptor
Well, than America is pretty near to death, especially with the cars GM an sometimes even Ford produces in the last couple years... in fact, GM is in a big shit constantly for like 10-15 years. The only thing that made them live, is the consumer society, but to be successful, you need to prefer quality not quantity...
Only, that it has just a slightly better position than GM... when it comes to quality, compared to japanese and american cars, american Ford has poof quality. In case of the european production, in Koln, germany, it is different, those cars are modern, using progressive technologies...
Where are the answers to my questions? This isn't an argument, this is your personal opinion... Yes, Ford is in a fairly good financial situation compared to GM or Chrysler..., but it is partially thanks to the money they got for selling Volvo to the Chinese, and selling Jaguar to the Indian Lakshmi Mittal... These are the facts, I don't give a shit about a truck that is sold only in the US, because this is not the type of product that can make a lot of money . Best product in all classes? :O
You've said in "all classes" before, and now only in it's class.. so arguing with you is totally pointless, if you change your words all the time. And being the bestseller in a class where there is no one else is not a big deal, you must admit... trucks and big SUV's are not the way to go. The other non-US manufacturers are following this line only because the US needs some cars like this, but they have successfully selling models in the other categories everywhere else in the world too...
@Dolmanation the new mustang smokes the challenger in every category and I would say the f150 and ram are equal because they are both great trucks and the taurus isn't really a competitor to the charger
I'd like to see a F-350 raptor with single rear wheel but a load capability and a long bed and a diesel be water resistant and you got a real winner for work and fire departments or other emergency reasons.
Defiantly a big fan too bad I'm not able to buy one now.
@arabrockerman , you can't have a compliant capable suspension AND have it be a good hauler. In fact, the Raptor's two tons down on it's regular F-150 brothers because of the tall tires and offroad capable suspension.
Your 100% correct its alot easier to make something light do what it does. My point it doesn't have to be as much of a high speed as much as just a rugged truck that can go anywhere.
Heck just shave two cylinders off of the 6.7 powerstroke comming out make sure everything is water proof crew cab and long bed.
I know it will be heavier but trade off some performance for capibility.
full of shit

I understand what your saying, but what is it that your implying about the comparison between European made and American made?
If its that European vehicles are made with better quality, then I completely disagree with you.
