@AshRosetti the choruses are. it's incredibly easy to hear that they were taken from the 1994 studio version and lowered in pitch. simply take the studio version and lower it by one note (or whatever it is) and you'll get this.

And after 2005 her voice clearly started losing power, her worst years were 2007 and 2008 and now her voice seems to be a bit better and she has delievered some cool live performances, such as "Emotions live 2010", and yes her voice changed and it´s not the same.
@pedy19 And I mean't this. When I was watching performances of 'I wanna know what love is' and she was straining on simple C5 or lipping C5 from 'We belong together' and whistles, I was confused. And I often don't trust her when she is singing so good and I guess it's lipped. And I can hear the difference between voice from studio and live. The problem is it's often sound the same.
@fuckingbrill Listen she has still the voice, is just fragile now and more vunerable, yes she does lip sync more because her vocal stamina won´t let her do as many live performances as in 96 she however sings live in important events (especially in USA) , for instance in 2008 she managed to sustain two F#5 and hit a G5 in I stay in love. Plus most of her C5 sound the same in We belong together because it is meant to be that way, it´s a belt , the hardest notes are the E5 not the C5

This is an amazing performace of Without You, I really like how she changed it uo slightly with the vocals, all lambs know her songs off by heart and I really like it when she changes it about, like I love the 2009 version of Hero. I wish she sang this on the Angels Advocate Tour, this is a hard vocal though, however not compared to some of the songs she sang on the tour i.e. Fly Like A Bird.

Mariah is obviously amazing, but she doesn't deserve so much respect because of lipping so much. It's just cheating. Like you were the best student in your school, but then you started cheating so often and just suck when it came to tell about sth without cheating.

@fuckingbrill I think she was at her best until 2003 honestly, I even prefer 2001 - 2003 than 97 and 98. And after 2005 her voice clearly started losing power, her worst years were 2007 and 2008 and now her voice seems to be a bit better and she has delievered some cool live performances, such as "Emotions live 2010", and yes her voice changed and it´s not the same.

And I often don't trust her when she is singing so good and I guess it's lipped. And I can hear the difference between voice from studio and live. The problem is it's often sound the same.

@fuckingbrill Listen she has still the voice, is just fragile now and more vunerable, yes she does lip sync more because her vocal stamina won´t let her do as many live performances as in 96 she however sings live in important events (especially in USA) , for instance in 2008 she managed to sustain two F#5 and hit a G5 in I stay in love. Plus most of her C5 sound the same in We belong together because it is meant to be that way, it´s a belt , the hardest notes are the E5 not the C5

She looks a hot mess here. I really would love for her to go back to her real hair and hair color. Wear pretty and elegant clothes and just sing to us. I am just not feeling Mariah like I used to. She had everything, beauty and the voice. Why has she "urbanized" herself so much? Plus, she was what, 33 or 34 here? She should not have been having ANY trouble singing at that age.

sigh she changed a lot. she doesn't sing it as well and she messed with the song here too much. she still has remnants of her voice and it shows sometimes, but it's shaky and it makes me nervous. she never really used to be a diva either.. she'll atleast always have the accomplishment of being a GREAT singer in the 90s, now she's just good I suppose.

amazing how bad she got, any one with musical knowledge and a set of good ears can clearly tell that the chorus is liped and is the original chorus from the original song, just lowered pitch. she can barely sing anymore, and she is only low 30s here. if you want to hear or see a good version, check out air supplys, at the age of 61 russell hitchcock can make the talentless wentch look as horrible as she really is

I think its not lip sync maybe you thought it was a lip sync because of the audio quality here is poor. Us fans can tell Mariah if she really sings it live or not.
When Mariah sings live from 2000-to present., she struggles with her singing and you can look to her face that she really is singing by the facial expressions and those hand tics. And if she sings live her arms becomes tight and maybe you could see some veins and muscles.., hehehehe...

This is an amazing performace of Without You, I really like how she changed it uo slightly with the vocals, all lambs know her songs off by heart and I really like it when she changes it about, like I love the 2009 version of Hero. I wish she sang this on the Angels Advocate Tour, this is a hard vocal though, however not compared to some of the songs she sang on the tour i.e. Fly Like A Bird.

the charmbracelet tour was fron June 21st, 2003 to February 26th, 2004! the reason why the tour was long was because she did a international tour. she went to South Korea, Japan, U.S. (of course) Russia, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, U.K., Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Lebanon. Yeah it was a huge tour!
