back then this band changed my life. Being a bassist, Kyle klye was a big influence. Glad they are still around. Probably to musical for the common man IMO. Most popular songs are super simple which this is not. nuff said. Wrap your wings is still THE Best.
Tuesday, June 7 at DIRTY JACK'S in Cincinnati, OH (5912 Vine St.)- BANG TANGO w/ spcial guests CHIVA KNIEVEL, WICKED INTENT, and THE JUNKARDS. Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm.
What's the guy with the strat and the hat's name????. He's a killer.
Listened to his live solos on "live at the palace 91". Poor sound quality on the clips though. I think this is easily the best Bang Tango lineup by far.
These guys were the coolest ever. I was lucky enough to meet them after a show and then became freinds. I designed some beanies they wore on stage for a minuite. The one thing I always take away is they were super cool and talented beyond what any of this shows. They were so ahead of their time.
With Psycho Cafe Bang Tango shined with a style all their own. Here they sound like a cross between Gene Loves Jezebel and The Cult, and sadly, that slap heavy bass groove found on their debut is nowhere to be found. Still gotta love 'em though!
I think FINALLY we can say-Rock is back!-Screw that "Background music with guy talking over it) rap dogshit-Just too bad America hasn't let go of that Shmegma music yet-Hopefully soon,All the "rap" fans will grow up one day,and realize that shit is no better than the corporate garbage the backstreet boys were.
Ah, especially Cinderella had their share! Long Cold Winter was a major success. Even Tyketto had Forever Young. To my mind one of the most underrated bands is ... GIANT. Dan Huff rules!!!!!
BT's guitarists, Ryan Seelbach and Michael Thomas were no joke. The main riff on Love Injection is still my favorite of theirs and it took me some time to get it just right back in the day. Sweet Little Razor has my fave solo/build. These guys can play. Sometimes a funky badass groove is as good as a flashy, melodic solo. The Bangers guitar players did both well.
I can't belive it!!! There is someone else around who has heard about Tangier...speaks of a very good musical taste. Cheers BTW i also like the others you mention...
These bands are still together, but not with the original line up for various reasons. I would love it if the originals got back together, but the new members bring something special to the music anyway. They all sound great these days.
Joe has ALWAYS sounded a lot like Tyler (used to be a joke in his early days)He has always had the voice and I'm happy to see he is living his bliss it would be a waste if he hadn't gone for it way back when ;)
this band kicks ass. i saw them open a show for a band called riot in 85 or 86 before they had a record deal at chuck landis, country club in reseda, ca
Love After Death is hard to find. I have the first two, plus 2 live CD's they put out. I bought their last one last year. It's really good. Dancin On Coals I like better than Psycho Cafe.
I picked this CD up totally by random; the booklet had an awesome cover. I was blown away by the music, though, once I got the CD home. I'm surprised to find some music videos up on YouTube! Thanks a lot. I'm quickly becoming a fan of this band. Did they have any other CDs, or was this it? Every vid I'm seeing came from "Dancin' on Coals."
I saw Bang Tango in 1993 at The Powerstation in Melborne, Fl., they so kicked ass! Oh yeah, and they knew how to bring out the hot girls. Still makes me smile....
It's such a pain having to clarify the comments I post, due to a certain person's lack of imagination. Satisfying sex usually ends with an powerful Orgasm(O!)or multiple Orgasms!
If you were trying to vainly subject me to derision because you are too lazy to think, I guess it back-fired on you, darkshadyfigure.I also suggest you try not to take things so literally.
