I was blown away at how rude she was, ESPECIALLY to people complimenting, and looking up to her. It was so offensive, to see someone looked up to on the Internet behave that way, and to treat other humans like that. That girl needs an ego check immediately.
I guess not everyone can take criticism well. However, I do understand--since many of you are talking about Holly--why she filters her comments. Have you seen some of the stuff people say on other YouTuber's videos? You'll always see crazy ass people saying things like, "Go die, dumb bitch" or "Whore"; someone even told Holly they wanted to meet her in real life b/c they heard she was ugly--what the hell? Who says that kind of stuff? People are defensive b/c of the hate that gets posted on here.
she seems overly-confident. prob cuz she has makeup on the whole time. no wonder she never shows her full face w/o makeup. the camera just jumps straight to her eye. she needs her ego damaged a lil bit.

Holly's videos used to be really good. I used to be a subscriber but her latest videos had her plugging a lot services and products. Too bad since she has some good tutorials for Asian eyes. Now bubs is my go to girl.

I came up to her & told her she looked beautiful & she was happy about my compliment, & complimented me right back. It's funny because I noticed a few things about her too that lead me to thinking she has an image problem. She never wants to be filmed if somebody else us holding the camera yet she is on YouTube. A few other things like the fuss she made about wearing glasses. I really like her vids but I can see where you are coming from.

Holly is NOT rude. She is just blunt, and doesn't sugarcoat things. If that makes her "rude" or "bitchy" then so be it. I think she's brilliant, and whatever she's doing she must be doing right, since she's been so successful lately. If she does delete or block a person it's because she does not want negative things in her life. She can take constructive criticism if said in the right way.

i know this response is a little old but i'm just now coming across this video. i have also commented to holly and would ask her a simple question and she would usually bark back with her comments. i do still watch her videos for just the tutorials, but i don't think i like her too much as a person. i can see where people say that she is snotty and rude. because she definitely came across that way when i would comment even nice things.

I gave hollyannearee constructive criticism on how she shorten up her videos b/c they were too long and she blocked me. Let's get something straight! These people are asking US to subscribe to thier chanel, damn near BEGGING! So if we watch them faithfully and we say that we don't care for a particular video, they don't need to catch an attitude. The reason why you have a banner and youtube is paying you attention is because of people like me. You may not be making a living off of youtube but reason beauty companies are sending you stuff is because of your subscribers.
Also, I noticed in one of her vids where she caught an attitude b/c for some reason or another she didn't show her whole face so only one eye was being shown the whole vid & I guess someone made a comment about it I'm not sure, but in her description it was like "sigh I WISH people would listen. blah blah" & I was just like geez, how does she know people weren't just watching the vid on mute (because I sometimes do this). Then I saw where she bashed a makeup company in all caps, she's just rude.

I was watching one of her vids myself and I don't even think that I saw anything that was 'obviously rude' but it was just her whole persona and something about her that made me felt like she was kind of bitchy. Then I noticed the comment approval, and for some reason that confirmed it. I guess not everyone can take criticism well. However, I do understand--since many of you are talking about Holly--why she filters her comments. Have you seen some of the stuff people say on other YouTuber's videos? You'll always see crazy ass people saying things like, "Go die, dumb bitch" or "Whore"; someone even told Holly they wanted to meet her in real life b/c they heard she was ugly--what the hell? If you want a really nice makeup guru who has the personality of a saint, check out pandoras pallete. She is nicer than mother teresa.
In general though, the prettier someone is, the more difficult there personality will be.

@espntimestwo generalizations are aways very dangerous. I checked out pandoras pallete, you're totally right she's super sweet! In fact I am now subscribed. But I would just like to kindly point out that though your intentions are well meant saying that prettier people have difficult personalities is not exactly fair. Just like its not fair to judge anyone's personality or worth based on how they look.

alot of people have this problem with this guru. she is a butch to alot of people. including me and my comment wasnt even rude to her. she contradticted herself in one of her videos and i made her aware of the fact and she didnt appreciate it. i stayed subscribed after that because i didnt want to take it personally but then i started hearing other people complain and i just decided she wasnt a person who added much to my subscription box so she's gone!

Honestly, the fact that you made a video about this is just as immature as the "snotty girl" you're talking about. I mean come on if this girl is acting so bad she probably is REALLY insecure about herself which is SAD. Be a grown up, don’t put down a girl who is already down on herself that’s just low.
