He played as a wing (not his normal possition whatsoever), he had to divorce his wife and barely sees his daughter, he's never had so many injuries in his whole life then these past 2 years, yet he plays remarkable still. This is also his first season at barca. Watch him own next year for sure.

What did I say, this match happened about two years ago? If I am correct, I believe I said Messi couldn't be considered the best player in the world until he learned to release the ball at the right time and to have a injury free season? Guardolia sat them all down last summer and told the forwards, Eto'o, Henry and Messi to play more for each other. So yeah Messi is now the best player on the player but I think what I said at the time was correct.
