  • fuck... epic.

  • father gregori survives all!!! :D

  • epic?

  • i was wondering how 2 1gb 9800gt's running sli would be on this game and crysis and stuff

  • great selection for a song, Just As You Imagined...

  • *just like

  • haha I thought I got it wrong, crazy considering how huge a fan I am

  • haha yeah

i'm a massive fan as well, the last two months i have literally just listened to NIN over and over again

saw them at the O2 on the 15th July <3

  • I saw em live in Chicago (have a video up of the first two songs, bad quality though) just recently, and I've listened to them nonstop for like two years now haha

  • how do you do effects like this?

  • just a quick question. I have an 8800GTX too so what video capture tool are you usin? Fraps lags the game even on lowest settings =\

im using a 3.0 ghz dual core with 3gig ram.

Just curious how all of you video record so flawlessly =\

  • I dont think fraps would lag.. I have a 2g ram Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT, set on highest settings, and I record with fraps and dont lag.

  • what resolution do you record in?

  • source recorder

  • I'm loving this card too :)

  • the song kind of sounds like it's from the movie 300... for the trailer

  • lol it is

  • heheheh

  • it is.

  • friggin awesome and epic

  • father Gregory FTW

  • Hey, what's the song, anyway?

  • wait i ordered a HD 4850, can that card handle it while recording?

  • Yeah, that IS great frame rate.

  • Now thats what gave birth to epic.

  • DUDE OMFGG!!!! the song fit it correctly and it was EPIC!!.. do you think 9600GT can handle that while recording?

  • A 9600Gt will definitlly handle that whilst recording.

Why else would I have that card!

Well, not in my current computer that is >_>

  • A 9600 is practically the same thing as a 8800, but the 9600 has a better filter or something like that.

  • This is why I love the Source engine.

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • what editer did you use?

  • woot NIN ftw! This video is awesome btw.

  • Where you get all that great songs for your videos! :D

  • It's weird looking back at these videos and you think, "wow that was so amazing back then". Strange how rapidly technology evolves.

  • Good times Moz,..good times!

  • @mozzaman true but this still looks good

  • @mozzaman Actually, I still think the good old SE is still amazing. (Just look at Dear Esther, or Neotokyo).

  • @HeyLookItsASpah I have to agree with you, I mean in terms of how it compares to more recent engines and games. Hell, I still use an 8800 GTS graphics card and it runs everything I throw at it. The most recent Source Engine from Portal 2 is stunning though, I can't believe they finally put the dynamic lighting engine in.

  • @mozzaman The 8800 series are very reliable, 100% my choice for a cheapish card.

  • Your good at filming [games].

  • Epicness...

  • For anyone still wondering what this track is called.

Just like you Imagined from the Fragile (left) album by Nine Inch Nails

  • 10 times after watching this, still epic..

  • whats the music?

  • holy shit i wish my rig could do that

  • WOAH... nothing else to say...

  • Cool

  • It looks good, :D

  • From what I can tell, you are using Magic Bullets Look Suite, maybe Vegas or the Mac version of video editing software (slipped my mind) and FRAPS, of course.

  • You tell wrong. He's using Vegas.

  • I said maybe Vegas ;_;

  • That's very crisp and clean, and yeah, like I thought, very high FPS capture and set to play very low. Good job, mate, you know your editing.

  • I'm guessing you set fraps to record at 60-200 FPS, then set it to play out at 30?

  • 120FPS

  • Did you use a special effect on the explosion, or is that on the graphic card? Because i have never had a better graphic card than ATI Radeon 9250 (sucks).

  • a little short, but they have talent to make good game movies...

  • dude ive watched this over and over b\c i was waiting to get my 8800 gtx also and wow it looks like its just from a movie man great job

  • my Goodnes man thats beautiful ill hopefully be getting an 8800gtx card in a few days

  • whats the name of this song?

  • "just like you imagined" nine inch nails

  • thats friggin amazing

  • you got many :D

  • That's not even that good. I expected much more from the 8800gtx. HL2 doesn't even come close to being a challenge for that beast of a card.

  • I recognize the music, just can't place the name of it.

Great work as usual, I mean, looking at your other videos, can't really expect anything less than this.

  • music is from the 300 trailer, "just like you imagined" by nine inch nails

  • What's the music in the background called? Sounds climatic.

  • "just like you imagined" by nine inch nails

  • Thanks a lot! Awesome song.

  • your welcome

  • MY LORD. How beautiful. I've only got an ATI Radeon 9250 PCI 256MB DDR chip and a gig of RAM. Wish I had something that good, Half-Life 2 runs on full with full anialiasing perfect, though.

  • yeah, ive got a pci x1300, and it runs all on high 1024x768 with hdr, and still runs great!!

  • That is one of the most powerful amazing thing made out of Half-Life I have ever seen in my entire life. Well, almost.

You did a really really really REALLY great job!

  • Welcome to my world monkey =) however I have duel =D

and yes, 1 Kilowatt power supply. also pricy

  • GET AH LIFE LOL

  • LERN2SPEL LOL

No, seriously, shut the fuck up.

  • A year later, I dont have idea what i was thinking in that moment sorry. for all.

  • Holy cow, what's with that super cool lighting effect when the barrels blow up...

  • I think mokeyjunkie added the effect's in with Sony Vegas 6. Look's like that to me.

  • Well...where would one get this godlike creation?

I know. Noobish question. Im not good with computer stuff. Im hoping my local WalMart, and...cost? (American currency)

  • If your talking about the graphics card. My exact one is the XFX Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX. It has heavy systme requirements such as a minimum 500W stable PSU and one hell of a long case (i had to saw a bit out of mine to fit it in) not forgeting the obvious needs like pci-e slots also. It costs around $950USD if i use a convertor for how much it costs over here in the UK. But i heard its a lot cheaper over there.

  • Wow...

Yes, it is alot cheaper over here. Checked the price on google. It totals around 500 Dollars. But im good with my Nvidia GeForce FX 5500, and 256 MB DDR SDRAM.

  • I use the ATI Radeon X1950 XTX and I know the power needed and the length of the case lol.

  • yeah, it is; around $600-$650.

  • That's amazing!!!

  • Good god! I'm glad I have Source Recorder to do stuff like that!

  • Ive never touched source recorder before, and never plan to :P
