scalping you pay every time the spread you win 20 pips and pay 2-3 pips of spread i think it's limit the spread must be less than 10% of you target the best is to have 5 % of spread in comaprison to the TP
Hey Boris, do you add any indicators to help you increase the win ratio to > 60% and to help keep you out of trades that pull back to the 50 after hitting the 25 or the 75 level?
@BKTraderFx , Many Thanks Boris, I tend to backtest a lot before trying a strategy live what guidelines do you use before going live with a new strategy? How many random manual tests would you do before feeling comfortable to go live?
Thanks boris you gave me something to shoot for on your comment as i always looked at my trades at each time and not on a weekly basis . On a day to day you beat yourself up for bad trades but looking at a weekly it's alot better on and average on trades.

@jaynejal No. Its a pure price set up. I think the indicators would actually hurt the trade rather than improve it - but I am open to ideas.

@BKTraderFx Thanks for your reply Boris. What conditions do you look for to tighten your trade from +25 to +15?
jaynejal 1 year ago
@jaynejal Honestly I am finding that +25 is the better target in the long run

@BKTraderFx Agreed, though you are right about feeling impatient once you're at 10 or 90 :)

Hey Boris, this is an awesome setup, I was wondering how you backtest these strategies, do you go through the setups manually or run it via a robot?
PureSymmetry 1 year ago
@PureSymmetry I like to do random manual tests of 20-50 samples across high vol and low vol environments
