Well, first heard Live in 1997 in the foreign Legion and I loved it. I was a sniper in 2eme REP and idid kill people. That's all behind now. Nowadays I'm an Intelligece Officer in Finnish Army. But my lt changed 9/11 2001. And this band really moved me. Have a mBA in Philosophy and whateverer it takes, my life's job is to prevent any more casualties. A bit strange comment from a career officer, but my job is to prevent war, not to create more violence.

The Brits stood down and the French came up with the Maginot Line...that was Europes answer? While I agree that Hitler needed to be stopped, and America was a factor in winning, I think you're overlooking the contribution that Russia provided. Their resistance and losses were unparalleled in WWII. Just google "Stalingrad" or the "Battle of Kursk." These were two things that really broke the momentum and morale of the Nazi juggernaut.
