@robotnoize Convenience. I don't have an assistant to help me hold the camera. Plus the sun light would've made life difficult for viewers to see the screen in the first place. Also my room is able to pick up GPS signals.
Point of the video is not to show how 'bad' the GPS is on the Galaxy Nexus. In fact I think a pure GPS lock of less than 5 minutes is pretty impressive, in case anyone is taking this video the wrong way. With AGPS turned in this thing can lock within 10 seconds max. No joke.
