I love this game, the second not so much. @reitifoh Mace Windu's technique to redirect the lightning was a special technique as a result of his Vaapad lightsaber technique. One point where this is proven is when Yoda and Sidious were fighting; Yoda could only stop the lightning. Although the game is inconsistent, you can finally see that Yoda and Sidious are on a higher level than Starkiller because when Yoda met hands with Sidious when stopping the lightning, the two of them were merely thrown back. In this case, Starkiller got owned.

And that's the Jedi weakness. The fear of the Dark side. And that's why they were wipped outo of the galaxy only by two Sith.

Good thinking. There is one problem. Palpatine is stronger than they think, and would have easily blocked him off anyway. He would had defeated Galen Marek and force him into the Dark Side, and then the Dark Side ending will play out. Makes no difference.

The real reason for this ending is just bad writing.
death star reactor had strong gravity that pulled the super star destroyer during the battle and it also pulled palptaine that before palptaine sith lighting destroyed vader life support armor thus killing vader along with him.

@MarzParty42 I don't know about the whole morale issue here, but I think the point was for Starkiller not to kill him "in anger". Rahm's intention might have been in self-defense, or simply just to defeat him, not out of anger or any other emotion.
Darth Sidious needed to be Harder, i mean He is after all the strongest Sith Lord in the Galaxy. What should of happened is Sidious should of fried his ass like he would of to Luke in Return of The Jedi. Sidious would use his famous line too. Sid:"Young fool!.... Only Now.... At the end.... Do u...Understand!! *fry's starkiller with Force Lightning* that would of been sweet and they needed to hire Ian McDiarmid to voice him, that would be perfect.
This doesn't really make sense...starkiller is waaaaaaaay overpowered. He defeats vader AND the emperour ? Not even Yoda could defeat the emperour...Vader has years of experience of pwning countless Jedi and Starkiller defeats him frankly too easily...It's a great game, but IMO it shouldn't be canon and sort of ruins the plot. Even Mace Windu wanted to kill the emperor when he was done, ANYONE would have struck him down right there and then.

And Vader consist mainly of mechanized parts, which most likely slow him down in the long run and take out agility whereas the apprentice is fast and strikes blow after blow in rapid succession. Though beating the Emperor was way to easy.

And yea, there's no way he could defeat sidious like that.
@Cheatsy1989 If you pay attention you'll notce palpatine doesn't even have a scratch from the fight and Starkiller dies, so yeah, Sidious is still the strongest one in the universe after this game, the reason Vader probally doesn't kick Starkiller's ass is because Vader's feelings get in the way again, overestimates himself and perhaps even wants Starkiller to end up fighting the Emperor, also Vader sent out Starkiller to take care of the Jedi, thus Starkiller has lots of experience.

However, battling three Jedi, one being not so strong...one being a crazy alien who has lost his mind, and one Jedi Master, is hardly any experience compared to the tons Vader has hunted down. I feel as if Sidious was out of character in this game. He should have fried Starkiller in less than a second...
@Gnasni There are also just too many inconsistencies. How was Starkiller even able to hold stand toe to toe with Sidious's lighting on full blast? Yoda barely managed to do that, and no other Jedi in the entire Jedi Order was able to do that, how did Starkiller magically learn that? I dunno, all of this just seems a bit forced.
@Cheatsy1989 Well first of Starkiller was trained by Vader in the sense of fighting Palpatine, so we can already get the idea of Starkiller having a training to be better than all the Jedi, also Starkiller was trained as a Sith and from what I've seen Sith use more of the force than Jedi and let's not forget, Palpatine in the final movie also just sat there suggesting Luke to strike him down, apparantly knowing Vader would interfere, perhaps he knew someone would interfere here too and

Damn Strom troopers can't aim worth shit. All those guys whould be in range of modern day pistols but noone can land a single hit. Jeez Emporer you might want to use all that dark side knowlegde to get some Nazy Seals, Green Berets, or screw it, Army Rangers.

@studiorobo To make the story better, and have them be sad for his death. The story of this game is amazing. Besides, Vader clones Starkiller in the second game. A LOT. But only two clones were Sane. One, which you play as, represents the element of Starkiller's love for Juno. The other one is a perfect Clone which got rid of his obsession and became a perfect evil clone. Who kills you in the dark ending of the second game.

I just want to play a video game series that reminds of the original three movies. I want it to take place in that time period, during the course of Episode IV, V, and VI. This looks decent. I think they were able to put a great story together and give it relevance to the actual movies.

death star reactor had strong gravity that pulled the super star destroyer during the battle and it also pulled palptaine that before palptaine sith lighting destroyed vader life support armor thus killing vader along with him.

@MarzParty42 I don't know about the whole morale issue here, but I think the point was for Starkiller not to kill him "in anger". Rahm's intention might have been in self-defense, or simply just to defeat him, not out of anger or any other emotion.

Darth Sidious needed to be Harder, i mean He is after all the strongest Sith Lord in the Galaxy. What should of happened is Sidious should of fried his ass like he would of to Luke in Return of The Jedi. Sidious would use his famous line too. Sid:"Young fool!.... Only Now.... At the end.... This doesn't really make sense...starkiller is waaaaaaaay overpowered. He defeats vader AND the emperour ? Not even Yoda could defeat the emperour...Vader has years of experience of pwning countless Jedi and Starkiller defeats him frankly too easily...It's a great game, but IMO it shouldn't be canon and sort of ruins the plot. Even Mace Windu wanted to kill the emperor when he was done, ANYONE would have struck him down right there and then.

@Cheatsy1989 Not trying to pick a fight or anything, but Starkiller was trained for years. And Vader consist mainly of mechanized parts, which most likely slow him down in the long run and take out agility whereas the apprentice is fast and strikes blow after blow in rapid succession. Though beating the Emperor was way to easy.

@Emerl1000 That makes sense. Starkiller was extremely agile, and it does make sense that he could defeat darth vader, but so easily? It seemed almost effortless. Its also just a bit extreme that he is just picking up people and objects, and tossing them around so easily, creating large lighting storms as if it were easy, he seems like a god, where jedi and with are really just warriors with powers, not gods. And yea, there's no way he could defeat sidious like that.

@Cheatsy1989 If you pay attention you'll notce palpatine doesn't even have a scratch from the fight and Starkiller dies, so yeah, Sidious is still the strongest one in the universe after this game, the reason Vader probally doesn't kick Starkiller's ass is because Vader's feelings get in the way again, overestimates himself and perhaps even wants Starkiller to end up fighting the Emperor, also Vader sent out Starkiller to take care of the Jedi, thus Starkiller has lots of experience.

@Gnasni that makes sense, and is a good reason why Vader would lose so easily if his feelings, once again, got in the way. However, battling three Jedi, one being not so strong...one being a crazy alien who has lost his mind, and one Jedi Master, is hardly any experience compared to the tons Vader has hunted down. I feel as if Sidious was out of character in this game. He should have fried Starkiller in less than a second...

@Gnasni There are also just too many inconsistencies. How was Starkiller even able to hold stand toe to toe with Sidious's lighting on full blast? Yoda barely managed to do that, and no other Jedi in the entire Jedi Order was able to do that, how did Starkiller magically learn that? I dunno, all of this just seems a bit forced.

@Cheatsy1989 Well first of Starkiller was trained by Vader in the sense of fighting Palpatine, so we can already get the idea of Starkiller having a training to be better than all the Jedi, also Starkiller was trained as a Sith and from what I've seen Sith use more of the force than Jedi and let's not forget, Palpatine in the final movie also just sat there suggesting Luke to strike him down, apparantly knowing Vader would interfere, perhaps he knew someone would interfere here too and

@Gnasni even expected Starkiller to cross back to the Darkside (probaly by Starkiller giving in to his feeling of killing the emperor anyway) Palpatine is a rather unpredictable character and one might say that all he cares about is the Darkside teachings going on seeing how many times he wanted to be striked down (Mace Windu, Starkiller and Luke O.o)

@ShakespearsWork indeed. the whole point of the rebels is killing palpatine. Without him , the empire has little power; HE is the empire. What were they planning to do? Taking him hostage in the ship and demand vader to give power back to the senate? I know he couldn´t die because of the canon storyline, but their plan makes no sense. Killing him would have saved countless lives anyway. Still ,its a poetic ending and left few loose ends to the canon, shame they spoiled that by making a secuel...

@ShakespearsWork Agreed, the Jedi are a bunch of fools, they berated Cade Skywalker in the comics for killing sith lords and trying to kill Darth Krayt, and Cade didn't give a f@ck about it, saying that Krayt is a threat and will be a bigger threat if the sith recaptures him (Cade), so he will do what's necessary, and if killing is not the Jedi way, the Jedi way perhaps need to change, that idiot rham Kota got a good man killed and spared an evil one to wrek havok, i would kill them both

@studiorobo To make the story better, and have them be sad for his death. The story of this game is amazing. Besides, Vader clones Starkiller in the second game. A LOT. But only two clones were Sane. One, which you play as, represents the element of Starkiller's love for Juno. The other one is a perfect Clone which got rid of his obsession and became a perfect evil clone. Who kills you in the dark ending of the second game.

I just want to play a video game series that reminds of the original three movies. I want it to take place in that time period, during the course of Episode IV, V, and VI. This looks decent. I think they were able to put a great story together and give it relevance to the actual movies.
