Well, that is why they make an arsenal of amps well under that price tag. But, if you want that exact sound, you might pay it. It is a great recording amp.

The selector pickup is for 3 positions

1: bridge pickup withOUT tone control

2: bridge pickup With tone control

3: bridge pickup throught a capacitor that put the tone at 0

Supposedly it changes the tone of the single pickup somehow.

yeah i did a little research.

one position is a bypass of the tone control, making it brighter, another notch gives a bassier sound, and the last notch slightly rolls off the highs

Nice playing, but I honestly don't see what's so great about reissuing amps that weren't so great to begin with. It sounds horrible.
