The triple option hasnt been stopped in 5 of the last 7 years. Ok it has been stopped. I dont mean navy has gone undefeated for the past 5 years but no big school sees it enough to stop it. Oh and by the way hey Jasartrip, you dont have a clue what you are talking about. Urban Meyer walked into one of the best recruiting classes in FBS history... and no pete carroll doesnt win all the big ones. How can you say losing to Oregon State is winning a big one? I actually like an option offense to be honest. but when you say 'the triple option hasnt been stopped' and 'no big school sees it enough to stop it' that my friend is incorrect.

LSU whipped Georgia Tech 38-3 in the Chick-fil-A Bowl a few years back. and LSU had seen an option offense three times that year before them.(Appalachian State, North Texas, Florida; although they were spread option offenses and not the tripe option.)

I was there...... the crowd was so loud it wasnt even funny.... That play was amazing..... it was amazing to wath him take it back.... I am a huge OSU fan but if they play like they did against navy... against USC... OSU is going to die... But if they do step it up it wll be an awesome treat for the fans at the Shoe... Hate to say it, but I agree. I think they were conducting more tests than implementing strategy, though. Trying to figure out strengths and weaknesses to form a better game plan for their 1st big game. I think they thought they could win easily and got a little lackluster in the play calling over the course of the game. Hopefully this lesson was greatest for the coaching staff.
