These are so neat! I've been thinking of getting one, but I'm curious- these of course play "normal"-sized 78's too, right? And it's a bit hard to tell from the vid, but how's the sound quality on one of these? A bit shallow, or comparable to a typical portable? I know it's only a child's plaything, but still just wondering :)

That's a stunning toy from 1950's... and electric as while the most of toys are battery operated!...
