ummmm why are people even giving up money at all? We've turned into a country of children...why else is everyone giggling about the situation these CEO's brought upon themselves and therefore US? None of that was very funny to me. Can't we talk about this issue like adults because it is a very serious matter? This is already outdated as GS and JPM have repaid the government resulting in profits for the taxpayer. For our investment in Moore's fav GM to be profitable, its market cap will need to exceed 160% of its 2000 high-a peak due to the huge demand for the highly profitable SUVs. Everyone loves to hate the bankers, but its Moore's beloved union boys pulling down $80k/year for a shoddy 35 hour work week that's sapping the taxpayer. Oh and Moore's obesity isn't helping our healthcare costs either.

Had the managers of GM been not so greedy and underfunded the healthcare and pension plans, and underfunded research and development and exported jobs to Mexico where the quality control is more lax,and had the government keep the fuel economy standards lax so that Toyota and VW could get an unfair advantage when the oil prices skyrocketed, then GM and Chrysler and Ford would not be in the position they are in now.
