  • it's ss wtf....

  • Where are the brakes on this thing!

  • Who put that ground there?

  • officers i swear i didt drink anything from that empty shipping container that had jack daniels in

  • Oops bad parallel parking. May have kerbed the wheels.

  • Well...that's one way to dock a ship.

  • its forwarded. look at the thin blue text in the top left corner

  • That is bad parking. lol. I just hope nobody got hurt

  • Are you kidding? if you have a gearbox failure during mooring or departure, and you ram your vessel into other one, You'll be in big trouble. It is always a lawsuit, and if the cause of the incident is not covered by the insurance, the captain and the pilot are responsible for paying the repairs, merchandise damage and delivery delay, and many other reparations. So, your comparison is a joke, a mocking, or you know nothing about merchant vessels. There is also somebody who cannot stop laughing

  • @zangalanga1 of course it there will be a lawsuit,,there always is,,that thing callen INSURANCE,,well I am sure that will cover the cargo--invetigation as to what went wrong,,but--the captain will not have to pay,,he more then likely will be reprimanded ,,but it is ultimately up to the proper authoritys to take care of this. a mechanical failure should be covered by the insurance.

  • I think it was a gear failure, during maneuver. maybe the pilot or the captain decided to ram the pier in order to stop the motor vessel. It is better then a collision with other ship.

  • @zangalanga1

Maybe nobody will notice. Such as if a tree falls in a forest and nobody hears it then did it really fall?

  • I believe the saying is "if a tree falls in the forest and no-one hears it, did it make a sound..."

  • shit

  • I can't give her any more cap'n......i'm given her all shes got!

  • Probably a blonde chick had the wheel for doing a nice whoohoo to the captain ROFL

  • perhaps today IS a good day to die, RAMMING SPEED!

  • thats sped up

watch the clock at the top left

  • That ships moving astern buddy!

  • Blonde chick.

  • "the dock just jumped out from nowhere".

  • Prepare for ramming speed!!!!

  • THAT DOCK CAME OUT OF NOWHERE HONEST!

  • "OK chaps, lesson #2. Speed parking in reverse. Go!"

  • LOL

  • WHATA REVERSE PARKING??

  • in his defense, the dock was just sitting right there.

  • Human error. According to my father the guy forgot to switch the controls from one side to the other where he was at. After noticing that he didn't have the control on his side, it was too late.

  • That's interesting. We all make mistakes.

  • thats the thing... hes well trained and paid to NOT make them :p

  • Or maybe more simple: Holland, don't smoke and drive!

  • Oh my godness ! That was crayzy !

Something went realy realy wrong there.... Most crashes are human error but this looks so strange I would guess tecnical mailfunction....

I have been in a similar sitation. We couldn´t stop du to tecnical mailfunction. But we had space and stoped her with the anchor, no damages.... But this .... Holy crap !

  • hehe, shitty auto pilot

  • you mean captain ? ... lol pilot is for airplanes LOL XD

  • LOL

  • lol GTA style

  • Parallel parking gone wrong....failed the test. Back to row boats for the Cap.

  • the other boat took his place, it is called SEA-RAGE, happens often

  • Why would you back into a berth, you have less control while backing? Was the vessel tied to tugs and they pushed the vessel into the pier because the bridge inattentive?

  • Some times backing up you have great control. I drive a single screw 200 ton with a bow thruster - I have more accuracy comming up reverse. Once I have stern way on, I then put it in fwd, use the rudder and the wash of the prop I can slide the boat towards the dock. with light breeze - don't even have to touch the bow thruster.

  • ozzidan, it is due to the paddle wheel effect on single screw vessels, am I right?

    cheers

    rob

  • Did they allow a woman to take the wheel???

  • the hell if he,s getting my parking spot,ha ha beat ya again ralph../ where the hell are the brakes on this thing-wait iknow full rever damm idid it again.
