Just a question: Is "Telehone" polka the original title for this beautiful music? I mean there weren't any telephones when Strauss published this composition, where there? :D
By the way music sounds great. Ochestra is brilliant and the conductor as well
@FilmComposeRaHoppe Yes, they worked in a similar way to those useless and very small boxes that people today call "telephones"... except they were less annoying. And the best part: children couldn't own them.
es ist erstaunlich, dass kein einziger kommentar in deutsch geschrieben ist. offensichtlich sind die ausländer mehr an strauss interessiert als die wiener !? was wäre wien ohne die musik der strauss familie ???
Although Eduard had nt got the talent of their brothers Johann and Josef, this is a lovely polka, i recommend you to listen Fesche Geister Waltz, one of his better works

It is a pity that polkas are so misunderstood! They had a huge influence in the 19th C. around the world. This is sublime.

Agreed! This is a far cry from some hick with a squeezebox!
