  • 1:20 That would've been a very embarrassing end to 'Doctor Who':

Brig: Miss Shaw, do you mean to tell me that the Doctor is dead, all because you forgot to make sure his bloody weapon was plugged in?!

    Liz: ... Oopsie. -_-'

  • And they say Japan invented Tentacle rape...

  • No wonder he eats all those jelly babies. He must still be trying to get the taste out of his mouth nine bodies later.

  • Great stuff,

  • run bitch

  • Endgame167, the doctor killing is one thing, but to kill the last of a species is gene-side. Killing a physical being if it's the last one, technical is gene-side, but when a conscious returns to physical form is gene-side in it's own right as it would progress to take over the last of any species

  • DaleksvsMaster, I would agree with you big time, Either that or he fought against Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge going for the slices of cakes....that would take ya back eh? lol

  • Wait if it's called "the Nestene consciousnes" doesent that mean it's just a consciousnes? With no body? Maybe it takes other bodys? Sorry but my english isen't the best there is.

  • LOL was the doctor trying to make it scary or funny? Looks like funny to me.

  • lol that nesetene looks cool, like the kraken off dmc

  • Well, this just goes to prove that Jon Pertwee was a total bad ass :)

  • One of my fav. Doctors in action/peril. ^_^

  • reminds me of the scene in "Rose" when the doctor is attacked by the plastic hand.

  • HAHA!

    Jon's gurning lolz.

  • Only John Pertwee could have a fight with rubber tubes

  • @DaleksvsMaster Dont know about that-Patrick Trouton as the DOCTOR, had his funny moments,But Yeah,Only 3 DOCTOR WHO actors had Comedy values-Patrick Trouton,Jon Pertwee,And many years later-SYLVESTOR McCOY-Sylvestor McCoy was THE 1 DOCTOR that had the best traits out of all of them(PUN INTENDED)*WHO*came B4 him,But when that FOX made for Tv DOCTOR WHO MOVIE with Peter Gann as the 8th Doctor...Thats the only 1 Doctor Who I HATED!!=(P That guy was Waaay too serious,He could make MR.SPOCK*BLUSH*

  • @OLDSCHOOLHHSEX What about Tom Baker?

  • @DavrosTheKaled Ahhh,Yeas-Tom Baker, you are right-most of the EARLY DOCTORS except for William Hartnell *William was the most SOUREST,STICK-IN-THE-MUD, FIRST DOCTOR WHO to start the series* but from the 2nd DOCTOR ON,the Doctor was so bad until you get to Colin Baker. Colin Baker's DOCTOR was very SOLOMN character as well,Colin Baker seemed to have reverted back to William Hartnells Un-Pleaseantness,so did Paul McGann, and 1 of the Newer Doctors that was pretty good when restarted-David Tennent

  • @OLDSCHOOLHHSEX

Ahh isn't that a little harsh on Paul Mcgann?

He only had one movie and it was a serious story within it so he did have to act to complement that?

  • @tom133991 Well,Ah know Ah'd be SourPussed too if was given the Famous Doctor Who Name and played ONLY 1 TIME in a movie the Fox 45 Network had bought the rights to from BBC,Thats like these Actors and Actresses today who get thier Mortgage rent money from being shown in 1 movie, but to keep putting payments on thier Overpriced House thats so huge having thier own Zip codes,These people show up Decades later in Life Insurance ads(Which should be the cause of death instead>;-3)p*) just to pay Rent

  • Great episode.

  • That's gross.

  • the doctor is gagged by the Nestine's tentacles.

  • I like Jon Pertwee's harido in this one... make him look a bit more mature... and dashing!

  • So the Nestene has tentacles? Hmm.

I wonder why the Nestene the Ninth Doctor faced looks completely different?

  • because it was probably mutated and deformed from its attack on its planet my the daleks ; )

  • Well, the Nestene in the other Auton episode "Terror of the Autons" is completely different AGAIN. Presumably it's some kind of disembodied consciousness, as in this episode it was having a body made for it. Hence the tentacles. The one the 9th Doctor faced was a giant vat of molten plastic. I suppose if you're an entity that can control plastic and make it living, a giant lump of molten stuff is as good as anything for a body.

  • Guess it doesn't matter now since Rose killed it. We'll never see it or Autons ever again.

Funny that the Doctor wants to protect life, but doesn't even so much as give Rose a dirty look when she essentially murdered the last remnants of an entire race.

I guess it isn't genocide if you're cute.

  • To be fair, The Doctor was the one who provided the "Anti-Plastic". He was obviously willing to kill it, if it meant saving the race it was trying to enslave. Besides which, I don't think it's dead. Not that easily. The molten plastic was just one body, so was this. The 3rd Doctor destroyed the Nestene consciousness' body here. But it came back. The Nestene seems to be able to go from body to body. And I don't think 9 was in a very stable moral place at that point anyway. Time War and all that.

  • @ReverendSyn Well, they came back. And this time one of them was good. Yay for Auton Rory!

  • You can tell Caroline John can barely supress the giggles!

  • Strange Doesn't Liz Say Something About Canning At The End?

    Why Has It Been Cutout?

  • M'sorry, but his face just cracks me up when the tentacles get him. XD

  • it was a great episode, they don't make them like this anymore

  • Come on Liz!

  • Quite a good episode, not as good as Terror of the Autons, but still good.

  • I agree, The master makes terror a much better story :D
