  • it's criminal how long Martel lasted, especially since this is Canada

  • lol Tornado got rid of most the jobbers single-handedly

  • still, bring it on!

  • don't recognise a lot of the names (guessing they're jobbers) and some of the others I didn't even realise were still with the WWF at this point

  • Damn! Blake Beverly was my pick he got eliminated. Blake Beverly ruled!

  • I remember watching this battle royal at the time it aired. It was the first one I've ever seen jobbers per se as participants

  • That had to be the worst entrance ever. How about stick all the jobbers in the ring then announce the big boys.

  • That is the first and only time Bret Hart has worn black colored boots. Just an observation... lol

  • duane gill as in gillberg?

  • she missed so many names. didnt call bret or owen hart

  • silly cow called owen hart dwyane gill

  • Lord Alfred Hayes was terrible. I miss Gorilla Monsoon though, what a legend. Gorilla and Heenan were classic. Actually, Gorilla and Ventura at WrestleMania VI may have been the best single PPV commentary ever.

  • Damn, I was hoping they'd introduce ALL 40 GUYS one-by-one with full music and height/weight, everything. And just make the audience SIT THERE for 30 minutes while they did it. Then they'd say they were out of time and had to cancel the match when they got done.

Well, that's what would happen if Andy Kaufman was booking.

  • did anyone see dan sevren

  • rick martel went out before some of the jobbers lol

  • Ah man I remember this. I was six years old at my Aunts house. We used to gather as a family to watch the WWF on payperview.

  • Most ive seen in one ring i think, didnt think bob backlund came back till about 95ish

  • They could have easily made it 80 men, but it would be 40 more jobbers.

  • I hate the fucking Beverly Brothers.

  • Great channel, I'm just starting to upload some classic WWF stuff myself - check 'em out sometime!

  • they should so do this again

  • koko b ware? skinner?! MONEY INC?! fucking awesome. btw this announcer botched the fuck out of this, she didnt even say bret harts name, either she got the order wrong, or whoever sent the dudes out had it wrong.

  • I was a kid during the 80's watching wrestling, so my memory of these events may not be that accurate. But was Koko Beware that huge?

  • at 1:26 is that chris benoit

  • this is in my hometown

  • 1:22 It's a me! Mario! Woo-hoo!

  • @wwfClassicRewinds the 2 names you are missing in the description are Jay Sledge and Dublin Destroyer

  • @GlitchMasta Thanks bro.

  • @wwfClassicRewinds not a problem =)

  • the best I can tell with eliminations- and I'm still missing lots of guys:

    1-Joe Milano (by Berzerker); 2- unknown (by unknown); 3- Bob Knight (by unknown); 4- Bruce Mitchell (by Jerry Sags); 5-Dublin Destroyer (by Kerry Von Erich); 6- black wrestler/ red trunks (by Von Erich); 7- Steve Martinez (by unknown); 8- Chris Johnson (by Von Erich); 9- Bob Starr (by blonde w/white boots); 10- JA Gooden (by one of the Beverlys);

  • At 3:45 you can see Dublin Destroyer being eliminated but you do not see him entire the ring or hear his name being called and nobody acknowledge him (he is not even listed among the competitors in the match details).

Kind of strange as he was named as one of the favorites in another 40 man battle royal (of course it was even stranger they picked a jobber to be one of the favorites).

  • what kind of battle royal is this, more than half of the competitors are jobbers... it would have been interesting if superstars such as hulk hogan, randy savage, roddy piper, greg valentine, ultimate warrior, undertaker etc. would have been included...

  • dumb hoe bag called owen hart Duane gill LMAO

  • who the fuck are these guys

75% of the guys that were in it in 1991 seem to be missing

this is the year wwf went down the shitter for sure

  • WWE needs to do another one of these!!!

  • wow quite a few bums in this battle royal if you ask me.

  • she called owen hart duane gill wtf?

  • Jay Sledge is one after Jim Powers. 4:15 Scott Colontonio is thrown out by Kerry Von Erich.

  • Joe Milano FTW

  • I approximately started to watch wrestling at this period. I was 10 years old.

Back then, it was excellent family entertainment, they weren't taking us for turkeys as WWE actually do with its new PG era. The roster was awesome, as the gimmicks and the matches...

Thank you for bringing back the good memories :)

  • Duane Gill... isn't that Gillberg???
