  • @UseHack

    You made it!

Send all of us stragglers a post card.

  • 12 dollars for not calling yesterday 20 dollars for calling today, and 25 dollars for not calling tomorrow.

  • what about the potential crash landing fee?

  • I think Im at the end of the internet, there is just one other video here. The rest of the page is totally white.

    Fuck yeah.

  • They forgot the Toilet fee -JUST IN CASE you should need the loo while on the airport or on the aircraft. And the flight attendants get no tip? *lol*, what bout for the lights on the aircraft...electricity bill for the lights need to be paid aswell ;-). They can just leave the cabin in the dark completely. Then a fee for using the runway - as you know they also have some wear and tear as well as the wheels of the airplane... ;-)

  • that is a great salesman

  • See new personality 2 on youtube.com / or google.com God's Blessings No Holding Me Down

  • Must be a hint at jetstar LOL

  • $15 tip for the pilot?! Not likely! What has actually happened is that the pilots have been subsidizing those $40 fares (nevermind that they aren't actually $40), with wage and work rule concessions for the last 10 years...

  • Blablablabla......bla.

  • It's such a long commercial.

  • yeah sooooo true well done air NZ good one

  • Tip to the pilot? :)) hahahaha

  • Air New Zealand made this?! Good on them! hahahaha

    Really hits Jetstar hard

  • totally brilliant, top marks to Gavin for remembering the entire monologue and the rapidity of delivery, as a stutterer I applaud people who can pull that sort of thing off lol

  • PILOT TIP!! i think we should have that one PILOTS WHOS WITH ME?

  • give the public what they pay for !

  • yes the airlines can be a ripoff but no where near as bad as the rental car services at the airport.

  • Lol!!!

  • aer lingus right up there with the hidden charges- having paid on line they then hit you with a charge for a seat. (graduated scale) I tried for no seat option but not available:)

  • My wife and I paid £1 for each of our seats and had to pay £20 for our baby to sit on our lap with Ryan air .

  • My wife and I paid £1 for each of our seats and had to pay £20 for our baby to sit on our lap with Ryan air .

  • Thats good!

  • hahaha

  • i dont mind pay that much to go there but i can skip the rest of the fees

  • "$10 for just being in the country" I LOVE THAT

  • I think I've been charged that one-off balloon payment.

  • LOL at the seat allocator.

Strangely enough, I suddenly want to buy a $5 bag of peanuts.

  • haha!!! very true!!! there is no cheap airfare... there's always something in there...

  • A bit much, but the $21 fee for not calling yesterday is gold.

  • i'm still wondering if the airplane takes off with own gears or if its assumed to land in the water

    LOL

    nice one

  • RAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!

  • $5 for your "free" pen!? IDIOT AIRLINE GUY!

  • its $12 for the PEN

    :p

  • the "free" pen, you mean? :)

  • This is why I always hang up on telemarketers.

  • I am aware that this isn't a telemarketer, by the way.

  • So this is where the big U.S. carriers get their ideas from!

  • US Airlines (the legacy ones!) are like that now

  • well done air nz!

  • hahahaha air travel just ant the same

  • to sum up:

    EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ahhh....so lucky to be asian...we fly airasia....no fuel surcharge...yes..NO FUEL SURCHARGE!!!

  • Nice work. keep it up. mean time come for social media marketing for esteembpo**com HK

  • It pisses me off when people sell you something crappy and act like it's good.

  • Air New Zealand is freaking hilarious.

  • great video there! it's a slap to ryanair's face.

  • ha...ha....

    what's he talking?

  • I wanna go to Australia now :)

  • thats hilarious!!!

$12 for a 'free pen' lolz

  • i was listening to this while listening to trance, thought it was part of the song!

  • whats wrong with wollongong?

  • everything is wrong when you arrive there at 1 A.m.!!!

  • Yes you advertise the price it'll actually cost because this is required by law. This was never true until the law changed.

  • a bic pen for like 12 bux?

  • actually its 12$ for a "free pen" don't know how that works but he said it

  • Yeah real funny apart from the fact I just checked the Air NZ website to fly Brisbane to Wellington and found:

    1. No seats available at the published "from" price.

    2. Published price didn't include the taxes and "surcharges"

    3. Over half the flights didn't have any seats available in the cheapest class (and as described above, those that were available were significantly more than the published "from price"

BE CAREFUL WHO AND WHAT YOU LAMPOON AIR NEW ZEALAND!!!

  • Comment removed

  • 1- Reason y is that the cheap seats are all sold out.

2- According to NZ govt. It is illegal to include them as they change so often.

3- Again it is because that the cheap fares are the ones that are sold first. So when there are no more available it goes to the next fare class which is more expensive. You have to be in quick to get the cheap seats as thats what ppl look for :)

  • Funny ad which brilliantly lampoons the so called budget airlines. Fuel surcharges etc are an operating cost i.e. planes can't fly without fuel. A little more honesty in ticket pricing is warranted.

  • lol ...i hate the didden costs, i even hate it when mechanics quote ex gst prices, I frikin dont know why people/airlines just dont tell me how much I have to pay pay altogether out of my frikin pocket!!!!!!!!...what do they think i am..a frikin walking calculator...bastards!!!

  • Brilliant Ad campaign, and more or less the truth.

For all the restrictions and crap you have to put up with, the fare ends up being about the same (give or take $20) from a legacy flag carrier.

  • Rofl! $10 just for being in the country. Love it! 5/5

  • i love this

  • "$12 for your free pen" ROFL

  • I love this video :-) LOL

Sad thing is ... its about what the low cost airlines are all about :-)

  • haha you guys crack me up i never thought i could luagh so hard before ... but you guys made me luagh so hard ... completely original [=

  • Gavin is the man!

  • Reminds me of ryanair!

  • Very clever advertising campaign from AirNZ

  • Comment removed

  • Brilliant! (grin)

  • haha classic! pretty true!

  • "...and a one off balloon payment of $14.95" lol
