So far the only movie I've liked of the Coen Brothers is Raising Arizona.

Every other movie so far.. has been just a rehash. Sophisticated humor isn't for me.

It's just a slow plot buildup with small laughs.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE

It is pure comedy, at its finest. Definitely my favorite film with Brad Pitt. Classy humour, and exciting plot with a twist!

I think most haters of this film fail to realise that it isnt a typical belly laugh comedy. Its not early Steve Martin clowning around nor is it a Zucker-Abrahams scattershot comedy. Its a character driven peice with well judged acting. The comedy is no of a belly laugh variety which I think some people expected then were let down.

This is indeed a good example what a unique movie is.

Instead of movie like 'Watchmen' keep being refer as unique by the fan because it's not the usual superhero film.

Lets start of by staying I'm a big Coen bros. fan. OK good. Now lets follow that with this is the worst movie this year. Funny. Nothing could be further from the truth. There were about three funny parts and in a movie that runs 2 hours that's pretty scarce. The only funny\likable character was Brad Pitt because he had the mind of a child, but he gets killed off halfway through the movie *SPOILER ALERT*. Was I suppose to but that before the spoiler... Fukit, your not missing anything

some of the parts of the movie is really good and funny and intelligent. brad and john is so hilarius and GREAT ending too. but the movie in in 'whole' is not just smart. but its to wierd and typical dumb. start to be a annoying clichy to watch speciel characters in they own little world being dramatic. this movie so easy t understand if you not dumb. but it have so MENY borring parts and alot of the talk scene didnt work for me. except the ending this movie is actually nothing speciel. 3-stars
