@44AncientPredator182 He talks about how the song came out. Him and Matisyahu wrote it while on tour together in response to the Mumbai bombings that happened not too long ago. It upset them (and me too) that people in the world use religion as a reason to spread hate and violence.
"I think we all know were not gonna get anywhere if were divided..only way we can move forward is together, you know, as one, so thats what this song is about, thank you very much for letting us play for you tonight I really appreciate it"
No, St.Louis, MO. Seriously, I've met other people and it wasn't the same. He carries no pride. He's humble and peaceful, and I think he was pretty tired.
I just discovered Trevor Hall and I love him! I went to a concert and he was opening and I was just amazed, I listen to him all the time as well as tell everyone who he is. If I ever get to meet him I will go nuts!
I saw Trevor Hall at the Northrop. He was opening for for Michael Franti. I've been a fan of Franti for about ten years now - Home, Stay Human, Yell Fire, etc-. Hall sang this song to end his set. The hairs on my arms stood up when I heard this. I left the concert very impressed, by Hall and Franti. I'm sharing Hall with everyone I encouter now, just like I did/do with Franit. Keep up the love, and positive energy!!!!
So glad I discovered Trevor Hall's music - what a gifted song writer. I'm recommending this CD to all my friends, especially my friends in Unity Church... who I think would appreciate the spiritual theme of his songs.
peace be the journey
