  • take the backdrop away i would be convinced its real

  • Your lucky you went there

  • Super sound effects.

  • Did u use a sound system for the layout or did u use video sounds of real trains?

  • Why would people dislike this? Some people don't know the difference between a nerd and a railhead!

  • I like how you yall did the mountains.

  • Verizon DSL blows.

  • Nice job with the sound effects!

  • Excellent vid. Loved it. Well done.

  • very nice two thumbs only thing is remember were to blow the horn other then that the best video I've seen yet!

  • Now this is a perfect example of how to run trains "HO" scalers. We see prototypically and correctly assembled yet moderately weathered freight trains running at correct speeds on a very well detailed layout with sound dubbed in. I love the fact that this is still a DC powered layout. Congratulations to the membership. Well done. Well done indeed. Just remember, horn where appropriate. Crossing roads in heavy commercial districts with no signals, Yes, On bridges???. Otherwise Flawless !!

  • This was awesome to watch! Thnaks!

  • Amazing sound syncing! Love the detail is the layout!

  • liked and subscribed!! wonderful prototypical ops man!

  • Really good job with the sound, Dude.

  • Great audio track!! WOW that is very well done!!!

  • Awesome work!!!

  • yeah, great sounds!

  • I like it, but correct noises if you would!

  • AWESOME job mixing in that sound.

  • awesome layout and love the sound dubbing its bang on with the trains speeds and location. hope we can keep up !!

  • Love it!!!

  • @Hummingbirds2009 Thank you!

  • Nerd........

  • @animallover12477 Don't hate!

  • @ohiosouthern Love it brother! We were just out to day at walbridage ohio and down at vickors diamond. i am fortunate to live right next to the old B&O main CSX perrysburg main line. I rail fan it at 4am or at 10pm the local PD and park rnagers know me and are incredibly cool to me plus there is no where for strangers to bother me. CSX and NS operations are right down the street litearly so i get to enjoy trains daily. My dad and two uncles worked for CSX so that is a plus for RR stories.

  • @ussoldierrail mI am currently trying to get my into our hobby he is Army infantry and in combat and was wounded in afgahnastan recently. I also am A veteran of the US army in the fisrt gulf war. I train him on knife fighting and weight training and now hope he will enjoy our hobby. please feel free to enjoy our web site and use as you wish brother god bless. toledoOHindependnetrailfan @ photbucket we serve jesus as chrtians and serve our country as warriors

  • @ussoldierrail I ment my son into our hobby. I too have a vast colection of CSX engines and give away to poor and feed homless. I have given away several Athearn genisis and cars to poor union and working class people. I have made a CSX SD40-2 for police officer but cant seem to catch up with him. We try to give to the homless, poor, working class and military but not to yuppie ass republicasn. GOD BLESS stay hardcore

  • @ussoldierrail O hell yes I LOVE the ore train at 2:05 I ran those with my dad at the toledo ore docs TORC for yrs. they come past the house daily. I loved the days I spent running the TORC engines. I have many pics and even ones of the TORC engines derailed. I alos got to run coal drags out Chessie system back in the 1980s. It was way cool to sit in that engineers seat . I have many freinds on the RR here it makes rail fanning more fun cause we get the pass LOL wink

  • @animallover12477 If you don't like his vid why did you watch it then?

  • @animallover12477 Don't hate, appreciate.

  • @animallover12477 People with glasses don't mean there a nerd

  • sweet audio effects! nice job!

  • @arkie74 Thank you!

  • That was pretty awsome, thats for sharing!

  • @beatleman69 Thank you for watching and the comment!

  • Good work with the real train sounds. Dubbed wel over the video.

  • @RELeeOnTraveller Thank you!

  • I do have planned 3 CSX AC4400's and a SD-70M assigned to a Q TOFC train, my tribute to the former L&N.

  • That is one cool model rr layout. Love the club's locomotives in that paint scheme and ex CSX colors. Just from this, im making changes on my model rr acquisitions and adding more locomotives thats undecorated to be painted in my own road's fictional name, the "ZGM", a coal hauling rr situated in northern Minnesota, Manitoba, and Alberta Canada. This rr hauls a lot of coal as well as lumber products and paper products.

  • has there been any "runnaway" trains on the train set?

  • Very good quality video. Too bad they are still running on DC

  • at like 3:55 i was like I hear an SD40-2 and wallah! lol

  • I want to build a loyout like these guys but mine is gonna cover the magnolia cutoff or from cumberland to rockwodd either one but still I love CSX and i will make a layout like this!

  • If I had one, it'd be O-scale and I'd populate the trains mostly with names and logos I make up.

  • I like the layout, as a retired ATSF Fireman, Brakeman and Throttle Jerker on the old Steamers I enjoyed the video.

  • do you allow visitors? i live in athens

  • @mace085 Visitors are always welcome, it is open every Tuesday from 7 pm to 9pm.

  • @mace085 November 12th and 13th would be an excellent time to come up. We are having our annual open house. I believe the hours are 11-5 both days

  • What is that train at 2:18

  • great layout, these guys must be big CSX fans! Love the first model train sceen with the KATO CSX C44-9s!!! awesome My hobby store has those same units for sale.

  • awsome!

  • hi from new zealand, just a great looking layout.well done to all the members hard work.keep well, and will keep an eye out for more downloads.

  • Thank you for using a tripod!

Too many model rr video are shot with a handheld camera and make you feel like you are on a malfunctioning amusement park ride!

  • this layout must be run by some major CSX railfans!

  • Thats one great looking layout. I like the scene at 6:40

  • @ATRsk8ter Thank you!

  • @ohiosouthern Mostly east coast stuff so yeah pretty much!

  • genial.------very nice................-

  • Thx man very nice !!!!!

  • Terrific video and layout! How did you achieve all the ambient extra sound effects, such as flange squeals and the lumbering sounds of heavy freight cars?? Awesome stuff.

  • @nwcain Thank you, I use sounds from my railfanning videos and just add them over the clips.

  • Great video; but not to nit-pick, that fire truck at :42 has a real problem! Not only does the driver have a long step to the cab, but with the rear end on the ground, it isn't going anywhere!

  • @maddennis55 Thanks, I think it slide down the hill after awhile. it doesnt look right I agree, lol They need a later just to get into the truck. Thanks for watching!

  • @upmodeler92 Thanks Jordan!

  • There is a similar RR club here in Baltimore MD-the Society of Model Engineers! They have a similar setup with HO/O gauge. Really like the Chessie train myself-days gone by! But-how many of you are familiar with the REAL Zane's Trace (pre-Nat'l Pike)? Traveled that route many times myself! May eventually post video. I've passed through Zanesville many times-really dig the "Y" Bridge!

  • @bullfrog1954 I am not real familiar with Zanesville, I live about a hour away from it. But I know it has alot of history and the Y bridge is believed to be the only one of its type in the world. Thanks for watching!

  • Awesome job! Loved it!

  • @KyleVideoDesigns Thank you Kyle!

  • Nice Cheesie EMD diesels!

  • @jettrainfan Got to love the old Chessie units! Thanks for watching!
