A Prefeitura de Novo Hamburgo anda investindo em um projeto de reciclagem bastante interessante, se não me engano serão com os recursos da Fundação Nacional de Meio Ambiente (Fundema). Esperar p/ ver, e boa iniciativa ;)

Well, lets hope that happens to Santa Maria. It doesnt really matter to me which city is the best or not. The important at all regions of RS develop and get better.

it is not easy and not right to criticize Brasil as it is the only LA country thst´s doing a lot of things and doing it right.

Those skylines? First of all it isn´t easy to be creative or create variety in those " verticais". Secondly it is so much in fashion to build them as living in a house in a street is perceived to be insecure.

RS yes I have driven around there a bit, PA very pleasant.

Well, now i'm very happy to hear you, but you have to see Santa Maria RS now and until 2020 this city gonna be the best city in Brasil, i wold say in a 1ºworld level city until 2020, there is an unbeliveble number of things that they are doing to improve the city, they are working in all the problems of the city and they are bring a lot of industries to this city with the discentralization of the money,

hi Mradipatti. I have to disagree with you that Brazil is the only LA country that is doing things right. Not only several other LA countries have grown more than Brazil (relatively) in these last years, as Chile is doing it VERY right and if it keeps this way, is expected to be considered a developed country in like a decade, while Brazil will take much longer. Just compare Chile and Brazil´s GDP and HDI.

Brazil COULD be doing a lot better.

yes i agree with you because when you compare Campinas with Londrina the skylines do look alike.

And if you se Santa Maria RS you gonna think that is like a little version of Porto Alegre RS.

looks like there are about 5,000 cities in Brazil, they ususally have 500,000 pop. and their skylines look....well identical.

Pity !! I guess it can´t be helped, too many people , got to build 20 storries high and the archtectural creativity and or variety just doesn´t exist yet..

By God I couldnt telll where I was if I was parachuted down into S . Joao dos Campos, Campinas, Teresina, Londrina

I t's not true, it's like when you say that all japaneses got all the same faces, they think the same about americans and about brazilian, it's because you just don't get used.

In Brazil is harder to take care of high contructions because all the dificulties that you probabily know.

But i can surely recognize these citities you mencioned by the skyline, you got to see cities like PortoAlegre,Curitiba,Manaus,Sa­ntaMaria-RS.

@mradipatti no i don't know wtf u just meant ... r u sayin' that all the buildings in brazil look the same ? well i'm not an architect, but as u can see they're RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS , btw, APARTMENTS. so u can't compare them with commercial buildings. most of apartments look the same, except for the fact that they're higher or not.

Caralho meu, muito desenvolvida, eu moro aqui em Santa Maria que é mais populosa que Novo Hamburgo e mesmo assim ai parece bem maior do que aqui.

Porem isso é porque ai gostam de construir prédios altos e aqui é ao contrario, e aew é extremamente mais violento do que aqui, a cidade é muito bonita mas é muito nóia .

Ai deve ser no mínimo umas 5 vezes mais violenta do que aqui.
