If I were banged up, and her dope was so good that I was floating around on the ceiling, I would be beating a path to her cell door, not beating her head against it lol
Yes I loved this scene with Bea punching Kay full-on in the face too...The writers should have put a head-butt in the stage directions, that is something Val Lehman could have done easily with Bea, but I know she made them tone Bea down a bit because of the kids watching, that went out of the window in 1984 with Myra though as they needed to boost the ratings and the new writers tore the general rulebook on violence up during the last 3 years..You have most hits for this scene, well done.
Glad you think so, i do to. I love this scene. You can really feel Bea's rage (and the punch to Kays face) Its only a few years since Bea lost her daughter to drugs and on top of that Kay has been antagonizing her, then she sells drugs to one of the women. No wonder she attacks Kay like that. Val Lehman as Bea Smith is brilliant and so is Sandy Gore as Kay White. I must admit the music is very fitting too. What more can i say? Prisoner is my favourite television programme.

I would like to have seen Val Lehman and Sandy Gore in more tv shows. I wish Australia really valued talented actors.
