I'm not sure if that's a UFO. I believe aliens exist but it could be the space shuttle. I am not calling this compleatly fake but the time that it is on the screen for is just perfect. Just an idea though
It's a helicopter or a plane. They do flights like that all the time so people can get a view of the fire works from the air. I'm thinking hellicopter because planes usually fligh higher/faster.
@caryv1 Well sure...and technically it IS a UFO...I cant say for certain its a Chinese Lantern....I can only theorize. So yep.....Its still officially undidentified, and its certainly flying....and obviously an object (in the sense that it isnt an abstract Idea...its physical).

I saw the "UFO" as well. I had been on vaction for the week and decided to see the fireworks. The initial sight of the UFO was strange, but later the next day it was confirmed that ot was actually just a candle balloon by the local newspaper. Nothing special.

I'm purely speculating here! Could it be the DNR received special funding to track the little brown bats nightly feeding range from the Millie Hill bat cave? You know, I'm going to RETRACT that last statement about the bag. That light floated across for 90 seconds at the same speed as the wind BUT THEN STOPPED.. For OVER a minute, the disappeared. You can watch the smoke going past the light, it seems to have stopped.

But the second time I saw it I didn't hear a thing. I have no idea what it might have been. I did notice that it followed exactly the same path both times, moving left to right, hovering, then moving away, its light fading in the distance.

From your position (even with the noise from the fireworks) I believe you could distinguish rotor noise? Did you hear anything? I don't believe a helicopter pilot would risk debris sucked into the heli's intake? As the wind was carrying the smoke in a south westerly direction, the craft must have been just beyond the smoke trail? Kinda the same thing Zeke Agostino was refering to in his comment above.

Great idea! It first appears at 5:04 in the trees at the bottom right and at 8:00 it dissapears. If you let the whole video download and you manually scroll from 5:04 to 8:00 you can track it's course.
An helicoper, civilian or not woldnt risk to be right in the middle of a fireworks display. Of corse some helis can survive small arms impact and some lesser rockets like fireworks. But why risk an expensive vehicle?
I say U.F.O. as these "lights" are being reported all arround the world.
I am so glad someone else saw that! We were sitting over by the first observation dock around the lake when we saw it and we were like what the heck is that!! Then while we were packing up we took our time and about 15 mins after the show ended the thing reappeared for a second round and did almost the exact route including vanishing out of thin air! How freaky in our small town of Norway!!!
not at all...the second time we saw it the area was really quiet and there was no noise either...plus it disappeared just like the first time...we walked through the woods and was really creeped out...then you start thinking were we crazy
where did you see this?? i saw something that looked really similar about 2 hours ago above christchurch, new zealand. it had random lights like that one
I think UFOs are more beautiful then fireworks.

I was there, It was lanterns with candles that rose like hot air balloons. They were lit close to me. thats all they were.
