  • I drove a bus like that one...for that company

  • This looks like to old Indianapolis city bus from the 60s and the buses were number from the 10 hundreds to the 11 hundreds i have so old pictures of these my dad drove these buses from 1955 to 1981 but i love the old look buses and the bus has the same color has the Indianapolis transit company from 1947 to 1977

  • 1-speed, with lock-up overdrive.

    [Correct?]

  • Now that is from back when they knew how to make buses!

  • At my local transit museum there is a 1957 TDH-4512 and the drivers have to shut down the engine, select reverse, and then restart the engine. Same thing for putting it back into forward from reverse.

  • wow that's an oldie! how old is that bus?

  • 1957

  • Nice old bus! I like the color scheme.

  • Thanks! It's the old Cincinnati Transit Company color scheme. The number 359 was never used by Cincinnati Transit (went up to 358, then skipped to 360), so we used 359 for this coach because it's not a native Cincinnati coach. This gal came from Kansas City.
