  • all accept now with cs5 production premium you can use .mov in premiere pro so there is no need to record in .mp4

  • Yes, but the files may need to be re-encoded.

  • You will need the XDCAM-EX codec in order to edit the files natively. The codec is in the standard package of Final Cut Pro. So Final Cut Express would work as long as you have this codec.
