one of my favorite bands of all time but saw them in san francisco moons ago but it was not such a good gig for the boys. maybe too tired/worn out? always wondered how their other live gigs compared but they hardly sounded like themselves, very slow and muddy. the recorded songs and performances were ace though, although the later stuff was hit and miss. I do agree they could have been bigger and have always wondered what happened to their climb to the top. they are still on my regular rotation
These need to get the act together again..they were the best band around and gave us all some magimental nights.. Mo Solid Gold didn't work for me and not heard the Orphans yet, but bring back TAM..no doubt they can pull it off, they had the vision to do something different, the energy to perform it and the songs. Shame they were not backed more by the industry...but having said that, they would probably be the death of me if I had to try and keep up!!!.. Legends. Always will be.
i remember seeing them when iwas 16 im now 30 and it was fking mental. I got smashed about all over the place. Does anyone know whats happened to them??
i know alex the lead singer nd guitarisit he is now an electrition i was talking to him today lol in romsey doing a house he is quite a funny guy and he is realy a nice dude
yeah ,welcome to the high society is as good as any work ive ever heard ,i could never understand why "these animal men" didnt go global .they were loved by the music press especially nme ,but the nme have got it wrong numerous times still i felt that this band deserved more .
I suggest that you undertake some research into the usage of the comma. My comma seperates the two parts of my sentence, indicating that the single was BOTH the third single in total AND taken from the 'High Society' album! For my sentence to take the meaning you assume, the comma would have to be removed.
i miss them too, riotstars, i still listen to them now and they are as good as they ever were ,the big three is one of the best albums i have ever heard and is on my turntable as we speak ,tho these animal men will always be my boys !
Thanks, man, for posting it! I was hoping to see this video one more time since 1995, I guess, when it was aired on 120 Minutes. The sound of my youth without any bleeding doubt. These Animal Men, the greatest of them all.
saw them at the reading festival many moons ago.....they'd gone 70 'glam' by that stage...needless to say they were shit..and off their tits :-/

I just discovered early TAM about 6 months ago via Youtube. Being from Germany I can remember listening to their second album in 97. I didn't like it
then. I recently discovered the first CD. Which is as good as any Clash or Jam disc. I was wrong about the second cd. This is really great too.
There is no band as underrated as TAM.
Is there a video of speed king?

seriously, over here in the states Green Day was huge yet the british NWONW bands were completely ignored despite the similarities.

How the hell do you get hold of their music nowadays? I can't find it anywhere, nor any of the other NWONW stuff like S*M*A*S*H and Compulsion.
